My prayers go out for the surviving families. Unfortunately because of poverty, many of these people can't afford to live anywhere else but places prone to eventual mudslides.

Very sad. I recall the big mudslide they had in the 1980s. When the volcano got active and melted ice on the mountain and covered a whole city. sad

Well climate change is real - they had one third of a month's rain in one night. On the other hand deforestation is out of control in parts of Colombia - just like Haiti.

Nearly 300 dead so far with hundreds still missing.
