CPL: Shadab Khan now familiar with Oval wicket
JELANI BECKLES Tuesday, April 4 2017
MANAGER of the Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR) Colin Borde, said Pakistan leg-spinner Shadab Khan earned valuable experience bowling at the Queens Park Oval in St Clair, leading up to the 2017 Caribbean Premier League (CPL), which bowls off in August.
The decision by TKR to select Khan in the 2017 CPL draft seemed to be an excellent one, as the young spinner tormented the West Indies batsmen during the West Indies/Pakistan T20 series, which concluded on Sunday.
Khan, who is 18 years old, won the Player of the Series award after taking 10 wickets in the fourmatch T20 series which Pakistan won 3-1. Khan played three matches at the Queens Park Oval during the series, and Borde said it augurs well for him.

Narine and Shadab will be a tough duo in the CPL playing on The T&T team

Narine seemed to have lost a touch or two.
Ain't know if he'll get it back in the CPl, but he's no where close to the player he was 2 years ago.

Narine is effective when being attacked
If they just leave him alone and block his deliveries he is neutralized
and becomes a non-factor.
