So, President Trump's extension of the olive branch to Assad has had serious consequences.

He clearly does not have a grasp of the Syrian situation.

He actually backed Obama for not taking action. I am surprised he is blaming him now.

And can't resist any opportunity to finger Obama.

My take:

Assad might be bad, but no fool. Why would he commit this heinous act at the point in time that his "greatest enemy" has extended the olive branch?

Would you rebel against the govt with your wife and kids with you or would you give up?

I dont understand the mindset of these people.

Would the govt kill them after surrendering?

Exactly....

Its the same tired script again....then parade sick injured children on the screen. Some say its the same children appearing in multiple incidents.

If not Syria...then Russia...Iran....China...North Korea....Zimbabwe.....

Who benefits from continued strife in Syria?

There are many nations and individuals that are responsible for the current destruction of Syria and the slaughtering of its people. Assad, the brute has lots of company in this regard.

You are a very observant person.

The lead in to this imminent raining of warheads on Syria is so elementary it is laughable.

The bottom line is this. The million dollar warheads are overflowing in the warehouses and when that happens the manufacturers are not making any money.

To to deplete and replenish and keep the dollars rolling in.

Trump is learning fast.

Well the people were encouraged to rise up and fight for regime change by certain clerics and nations only to be abandoned later on. Now they are suffering his brutal repression. cool

camos 2017-04-06 20:37:11

why would Assad use chemicals now when things were moving in his direction?

Yes.

The Israelis wanted Syria destroyed. The wicked Wahabbis of Saudi Arabia wanted Assad destroyed and they didn't care how they get there, so they arm rebels many who were Daesh.

The Turks wanted Syria badly to suppress the Kurds, so this unholy alliance cast aside their differences and say lets go get Syria.

Did you ever notice, the media does bad mouth the Saudis anymore- the negative press about Saudi Arabia and Wahhabism has ceased ever since they enter into the same camp as Israel.
