What Misbah said could easily be applied to our current WI situation; Players faced the brunt of criticism from fans, the "administrators", the media and the so called analysts for everything that ails WI cricket- to hear Misbah, a man who have done it all, make that statement yesterday, it should serve as a wake up call for all of us to stop the wholesale criticism of players and personalities- see below
"Personal criticism is not good for Pakistan," he said. "Instead of criticising personalities, it's better if we start talking positively about Pakistan cricket. It's always helpful for players and the country, otherwise being negative all the time give negative vibes and this affects players' energy and performances.

Seriously, there is no evidence to support the false claim that I have criticized players.
I have purposefully stayed away from that, it has never been my style to attack a player's personality or national origin. Notice when Sammy was brutalized here, I went after those rabid denizens in here, same for when Shiv was bad mouthed, and the list goes on.
I have however, lashed hard the cancerous administrators, the media, the pybuses and the WICBC.
Rather than having a fully cohesive
and coordinated strategy ,
THE WICBC IS STEEPED IN A
BUNKER TYPE MENTALITY IN
ESSENCE , IT IS THOSE WHO
GOVERN ; VS THOSE WHO ARE
GOVERNED ( THE PLAYERS )
The WICBC has been doing this for
many years now , and its main
purpose is to ensure that those
in the WICBC cover their Asses .
In this Machiavellian Strategy , the
WICBC is aided and abetted by
many in the Region who purport to
be Sports Journalists .
As a result , the Players are derided ,& criticized , even when the fact is
that the WICBC has been & is derelect in its responsibilites to ensure that our Players & Teams
are fully competitive in the International Cricket Arena .
THE STARK FACT IS THAT ALL
THE ILLS OF WEST INDIES CRICKET
CANNOT BE THE FAULT OF THE
PLAYERS .
But that is precisely what the MIMIC
MEN in the WICBC would have us believe . It is time that the FAUX
SPORTS JOURNALISTS in the Region wake up to the fact that THEY are barking up the wrong freaking Tree .
Cricket in the Region would be better served if these pseudo Sports
Journalists wake up , and be critical
of those who relish commissioning
Reports & then swiftly dismissing
the recommendations of those Reports .
Those who claim to be Sports Journalists fail to understand that
by not being very critical of the WICBC they are in Colussion with
the WICBC in the Sad ; Sorry ; State
of West Indies Cricket .
The truth is that the Regional
Boards are no better than their
Representatives in the WICBC .
Interestingly , none of the pseudo
Sports Journalists , have had
the Testicular Fortitude to ask the
Emperors in the Worst International
Cricket Board in the Commonwealth
aka the WICBC ; why they have bluntly refused to change their 1928
archaic Structure .
It is obvious , at least to me that they have been not only the willing Tools of the WICBC , they have allowed themselves to be come Eunuchs by the WICBC .
