I think the team was over-confindent. After knocking off 300 they seemed to think they could knock off 280 easily. However, ever game is different.

As I mentioned before this a very young team so West Indies cricket fans will have to be patient.

Ideally, we should have a mixture of youth and experience on the team. But it appears the people who run the WICB are threatened by veteran players.

Cricinfo Reports Same
"West Indies will bemoan a failure to keep wickets in hand to give themselves a chance of chasing down Pakistan in the second ODI. Much of that was down to a tactically odd - poor, frankly - decision to take the attack to Pakistan's bowlers right from the start, and continue to do so in spite of losing wickets in clumps. As such, they were well out of the game before their innings reached the halfway mark, and meant that Ashley Nurse and Jason Holder's rearguards weren't going to do any more than restore respectability in defeat".

Spot on. Situational awareness and strategy off. Lack of basic thinking. All we needed was another of the 'top order' to stay until the end as Mohammed did in the first and Babar did for Pakistan in the Second. This game is not rocket science.
