Real bad but atleast he can up his rate if he stays til the end

Shai is pacing the Innings....don't want to take chances and give it away...just pick up the RR...

Judgement 2017-04-11 12:10:36

When Kieran Powell does it, he's "wasting balls" "costing us the game" etc etc etc.

When Shai Hope does it he's "pacing the innings".

Oh the hypocrisy.

Oilah 2017-04-11 12:13:12

Let us also admit that the bowling is very good on a turning pitch...it cyan be easy batting out there.

Yep some peep unfair but both is the same.
Thing is these players, all of them are really bad. They should be able to rotate the strike much better but its the best we've got or near the best so can't really attack any personally for it.

Paint is really the only one who lacks the ability at the end to make up for a super slow start.

Exactly Andy. Its the personal and biased attacks that always make me speak up. Not a single player in this team deserve a reprieve but apparently Shai is pacing the innings wink

Come on CMG, you in the armchair and didn't learn from the previous match?Early wickets- somebody got to anchor and rebuild.Look at the equation now.

You can only call it wasting balls if he gets out having not made up for it in the end.

This also shows why J-Mo is playing a blinder here, forced to bat at close to a 100 S/R from ball one because his partner is struggling.

Yes and that is my point, that is exactly what Powell did towards the latter part of his innings, upped the strike rate significantly but then he was accused of "taking risks" when he set the foundation for that innings. You cant win with the armchair critics lol.

Shai doing exactly the same today (actually even worse) and he's apparently pacing the innings big grin big grin big grin

There's not a lot of difference between the SR's of Kraigg and Shai....

Pacy 2017-04-11 13:10:15

Shai can up his acoring when there is a need. Brathwaite can not. As simple as that.

What a wonderful struggle. They sure struggled to win in less than 40 overs, but managed they did to win in less than 45. They only lost 4 wickets to boot!!
