...on a difficult pitch.
We batted 50 overs on a difficult pitch.
Batting 50 overs is the justification given for Snail being on the ODI side.
We obviously did not get a big score in difficult circumstances but nonetheless we batted 50 overs.
It stands to reason that with Snail playing this match on a difficult pitch with his lower strike rate. the score would have been smaller.
Doesn't this strengthen the argument for Snail not being included in the ODI set up?
Snail supporters, here is an opportunity to thinkfor the first time long and hard about this post.

Shai batted marginally better than Snail today...
Did we not bat out 50 overs?
In reply to imusic
Indeed we did.
Ain't going to get down on him too much for it though. The wicket was doing a lot and he was having problems with the spinners because of it. What he did today isn't same as watching Braffit defend ball out of the middle of his bat.

But de argument here is that glue does cause the other batsmen to out themselves

It seems the pitch was no longer difficult if Pakistan could win with 41 balls to spare
The Secretary has a difficult time thinking in bulk gauging consistency and obviously think one time is good for everytime.
