They have very selective memory.The lament was that it was the biggest injustice in recent memory.Some claimed he should have been one of four sure picks. My buddy who happens to be Jamaican,was absolutely dying from laughter. His exact words was that Rovman is a yam licker who should not be near an international side. I happen to agree that he is in way over his head at this level.

Honestly, this MB provides me with great amusement. A few weeks ago it was Rovman Rovman Rovman and shouting blue murder that he wasn't getting a chance to play and suddenly now, what happens to Rovman next DWL! Oh the irony.

You are the most foolish poster on here and i usually just ignore you but i will waste 30 seconds of my life on you to make it clear that I have NEVER called for Rovman Powell to be included in anything (unless you are getting confused with the other Powell again, because you are clearly quite intelligent). Rovman is a T20 player that came up the ranks just last year. I expect more than someone like him for our senior team. Now be gone.

Much over-hyped and is apparently the replacement "Russell" but i am yet to see anything that lives upto the hype. He is going to IPL on Thursday, infact.

The fact that he is still around the team, suggests that the coach sees something in him. He needs to start playing 4 day cricket and put in the hard work.

Well yes, the power hitting aspect, but bear in mind, they are not providing him with an opportunity to play so he is a last option so to speak.

I called him one of sure picks..cos as we have seen..we do not have the players currently who can up the push the tempo..its the same reason Chawdick was given he chance..he failed..Rovman got what..one chance..he too was found wanting..now we know..lets move on..no worse than we were before

The manner of the failures was not encouraging..with half the innings left to go..no pressure
10.5 74.4 mph, trapped plumb in front. This the slower offcutter from Hasan, nips back in and hits the pad in front of middle and leg. Powell had no clue about it, playing across the line so early and missing it
10.4 54.7 mph, bowled first ball! Powell gone. A flat delivery that goes on with the arm. Powell hangs back and brings his angled bat down late. Very late. The ball skids on and hits off stump as Powell closes his bat face. Poor shot, playing with an angled bat so early
He looked pretty damn bad...not like the guy who was flaying TNT bowling to all parts

I still think rovman should of been slected in the 11 he can't be much worse than Carter and why have him in the squad and not select him.
