That's how you answer a critic! (with your bat)

Well Done. Proud of you!

I sincerely believe Polly has the game to be successful, but its his FOCUS and Determination that leaves a lot to be Desired of.

He has played some amazing innings, even in ODIs vs Australia at home especially, but then he just "switches off".

I think the IPL brings the best out of him.

and in this particular case, Mr. Manjrekar has! big grin

Mumbai made Polly feel wanted.

Richie Benaud the great Australian captain when he saw Polly wanted to know why he is not playing Test Cricket
many years ago. If he was an Ozzie he would be on the Test team

CWI gats that management principle that dem doing you a favor by selecting you.

It's a poor way to motivate a team and players.

If only Polly was a Bajan, he'd not only be in the Team, he would have been Cappo for life.

Good thing though, Polly NO BOOT LICKER!!
Man has his Pride and Self-Respect.
He's been brought up PROPER.

.

Pollard:

I just thought these are situations when champions are made. I thought of that and struck to my strength, hit it down the ground. Krunal came in and showed his maturity too.
It was a matter of watching what their bowlers. We decided that if we get a six or four off every spinner's over, we will get close if we keep it ticking and not play any dot balls.
Personally I've never felt out of form. I've been hitting it well in the nets and these are the times you've to dig in. At the moment, the momentum is with us.

Kieron Pollard is the Man of the Match.

to be fair, in T20:

a 30 is the same as a 50 in ODIs. (pragmatically)

Statistically yes, a 50 is a 50.

The fact that someone had to call him brainless to wake him up shows he is indeed brainless. Reminds me of another Trini...

Talk nah... smile

Pollard is not interested in the longer format of the game, he has said this and shown this already,
good to see him back in form and quite timely CPL around the around and the tridents need him

time to let it go man ...if Pollard was a bajan, who cares where he was born, we are happy that he is back in form
