Bro you never get over deaths like these.

My question still is what makes a rational man in a high end vehicle not wear a seat belt.

I know that road in my sleep - I use it at least every two weeks.
To think that the plan for the day was visiting their mother's grave on her birthday.

Really sorry to hear...

Too much crazy driving on the roads...

I narrowly avoided a bad one this holiday weekend with my family in the car...

I was switching to the "slow" lane, indicated everything, when a guy zipped past me doing at least 90 mph...had to swerve to avoid and then swerve back, having gone across to the other lane...

These tragedies are preventable with better enforcement of traffic laws.

I just read where a Policeman and his lady friend died in a car crash in Jamaica while having sex.

Never met the (deceased) son, but had the pleasure of meeting the daughter back in 2007. That's when she proudly informed us that we were seated exactly where Shaggy and Chaka Khan were the prior evening.

Made us feel like a celebrities.

My brother in law and sister in law wore seat belts, it did not save them, Seat belt are a must, especially when driving with my precious cargo.

All of Cecil's injuries were related to being thrown from the SUV

The really good news is that only the two of them died. They could have killed others.

People in the Region head hard .
It is unfrtunate that some die because of refusing to put on their Seat Belts .

The vehicles come to the Region
equipped with Seat Belts . THEY
therefore have absolutely no excuse
for not buckling up .

I was living in SVG from the end of 1999 - 2005 and was derided for putting on my seat belt . I went to my Auto Insurance Agent , and asked him to get the other INsurance Companies to lobby the
Government to make it mandatory
that People in Vehicles wear Seat belts .

My take is that Insurance Companies & Governments have a vested interest in this matter . Insurance Companies have topay out money , and when those who survive not wearing seatbets are
hospitalized , Governments in the Region , have to facilitate caring for them ; when if they had on their safety belts , the surgeries , medication etc would have been unnecessary .

Overtime the feaking cost adds up .
My understanding is that the Government of SVG has since made it mandatory that people buckle up .

My condolencies to Gloria , I went to her Restaurant once while in transit going to Antigua .

Gloria is dead man - in fact Cecil died on her birth date and the plan was for the family to visit her grave.

Agree with every word re seat belts.
No one rides in my car without a seat belt.

Foolish driving is so commonplace in Jamaica that it has become the norm. I don't think the police could actually recognise it. Everybody passing everybody, everwhere.

Man it is crazy on those Jamaican roads.

When I was there it was an adventure driving to the Stadium.
I mean, I was already concerned that I had to get used to a vehicle which is right hand drive after such a long time. But nobody wants to wait and worse the taxis.
