is that you can experiment with different exercises, without looking silly. Remember, exercises are not written in stone, you can come up with your own, if you are creative enough. Safety is always priority.
I have come up with different ways of using rubber bands and dumbbells, together. Rubber bands add constant tension to the exercise.

The best thing about working out at home
In reply to black
Exercising is all about angles, and hand position. Try pronating and supernating the hands as well as using different angles.
I like it because I can spend some quality time with my wife as she sits and watches movies/youtube whilst I'm exercising.
Kinda weird but it's kinda our thing

Whatever it takes to get you motivated.

Sounds like you need to join a real gym.

I've been in the Gyn for years.
Sometimes you make more progress outside of the Gym. I still go to the Gym for heavy lifting.

I work from home as well, while me and the wife aint have a workout kinda thing apart from the obvious (lol), at nights we usually watch a few tv series before hitting the sack. These little things are as awesome as going out and having fun.

I guess that depends on your ultimate objective. And that you got a damn good gym at home.

It depends on your level of experience, give me a couple of dumbbells and I can do everything I normally do in the Gym.
I go to the Gym to work chest and a little bit of back and if I had heavy dumbbells, I could work chest with that.

Oh so you like nuff fellas hey in Miami that don' work de legs and wear half-cut swimsuits to the beach to hide dum?
You are doing your body a disservice by working part of it.

Right now I am focused on upper body, my legs have had a lot of workout in the past. I will get back to legs at some point.
I'm pretty active, so my legs are still getting a workout.

Man you making it sound like you only got a limited time to workout. I go 4 days a week. 30 minutes each time. And work each body part twice in 7 days.
Day 1 - Chest, shoulders, triceps (all pushing)
Day 2 - Back, Biceps, forearms (all pulling)
Day 3 - Legs, Calves
Day 4 - Repeat Day 1
A rest day between each day.
A total of 2 hours for the entire week (which includes abdominals at the end of each session).
As hard as it may sound, the older you get, the more time you'll have to put into exercise, food and sleep. Take care of your health.

Dude, I used to live in the Gym, with my schedule now, I only have time to workout at home. Like I said, I go to the Gym to work chest on weekends.
How could you get busier as you get older?
In reply to BeachBum

Nopes.I'm the lazy one She usually sits and watches some youtube and makes sure I don't sit and slack off.
She's lost 45 kg's in 2 or so years so whatever she is doing is working.
Her training regimen and diet is pretty crazy.

Some of my best and fullfillig workouts have been at home, with the tv on,all the hydration I need and healthy fruits and eats when I done, not to mention my kids around and saying how strong and fit daddy looks!
Oh and I agree with more freedom to experiment, even with clothes!!
But seriously gym or home I always in proper gear with all necessary accessories, kinda adds some professionalism and sophistication to the homemade experience..
