I have been a nomad for over the past two years in Europe.
I just finished 6 weeks training in Aylmer Ontario, Now I go on to Regina.
Anyone who posts here from Regina? If so can you give me the low down?
I am in Regina for 4 weeks training. One of my fellow trainees told me a lot of stuff.
How flat it is, you can see Calgary to the West and Winnipeg to the East?
No hills or trees, just farmland and in winter its cold as hell?
I have to go back for 3 months November, December and January 2018
Help a fellow member out with some solid facts will ya.
Thanks
A Trini Nomad

Back about 10 years ago I used to have Trini chick up in Winnipeg.
Apparently there's quite a sizeable and vibrant Tittie community there (of all fcuking places).
The province of Saskatchewan is in the Prairies, maybe the flattest province in Canada, I spend many good long weekend in Regina and Saskatoon in the early seventies.
Moose Jaw is another city in the province, about an hour drive to Regina, the people are friendly.
I was invited once to an outing at Regina beach, I found out quickly it was not a beach in the Caribbean, but hundreds of families was at that beach.
A buddy of mine lives in Saskatoon
The most boring drive is driving through the prairies
Banff is only about 8 hrs drive, so rent a car and see the Rockies.
Flew over Saskatchewan a couple times (once to Calgary, once to Vancouver). Talk about flyover country. Like you say sgtdjones, nothing but fields and fields for miles and miles.
Well I suppose you can follow the CFL Roughriders for a bit, but otherwise I don't know what else there is to do up there.
There was a Bajan poster here going by the moniker of Red Duppy that probably lived in Saskatoon or Regina.
Saskatchewan? Really?
Hmmm. Can't imagine how a West Indian would sit down and come up with a plan to move to Saskatchewan.
Nothing to do there except for maybe hunting prairie dogs.
Flatest and most monotonous landscape

In reply to sgtdjones
I can't really help except refer to a joke I heard recently.
A man there had the misfortune of having his wife walk out on him. The break up was tough in that he could see her walking away for five days.
