Well the selectors got what they deserve, after Mohammed give them two fifties in the ODI's, one a match winner, they decided to experiment with untried players who as expected failed. It would be good if the Selectors could reverse their move and select Mohammed if these untried players keep failing. He is about the same age as Singh, so age should not be an issue.

Yeh people don't understand scoring runs in regional cricket does not mean you will score runs on the world stage. Batting in test cricket is easier than limited overs cricket. Jason Mohammed is the best batsman in the West Indies right now

I like Mohammed a lot, he is a hard worker. I must point out though, last year and this year, his long form cricket was atrocious. Last year he was made cappo for the Republic of T&T but had to relinquish it due to extremely poor form.
This year he did not fare much better.
Perhaps Mohammed is better suited for short form and t-20 cricket?
