Listen people, Holder is NOT a main bowler on any team. He is a useful 5th bowler. If you want the WI to be competitive at least, the need for four main bowlers are esencial.
Bishoo as we all could see is ineffective only leg breaks which is very predictable.
The batting is filled with young,inexperienced and inconsistent batsmen. I believe Holder should move up the order and play an extra bowler.
So my team would look as follows:
KB (He and the team NEEDS some runs)
KP
Blackwood (At #3 due to his free attacking style)
Mohammed
Chase
Holder
Dowrich
Cornwall/Reifer (both are all rounders)
Jacobs
Joseph
Gabriel.
Hetmyer
Singh
Someone mentioned Bishoo is a better bat than Jacobs. They are being considered as bowlers. If the batsmen do their jobs you wouldn't have to rely on the bowlers all the time to produce with the bat.
This is a well balanced team and there isn't any reasons nor excuses beyond this.

That too is the major flaw in u line up..not enough Bajans.
I would love to see that line up too.

On a Kensington pitch I would play Cummins/Roach instead of Jacobs and Cornwall and Chase to be the spin options.
Cummins and Roach were large and in charge at Kensington this season.
The pacers took the wickets at Sabina...at Kensington I would introduce a third pacer in Cummins or Roach and let Holder be the fourth seamer.

Hope they learn that the pitch will offer bounce so a good foward shortleg must be selected as well or call back Logie, Sarwan or Clayton Lambert.

WI Cricket is not owned or operated by Barbados therefore the game should not be about the # of Barbadians on the team. It should always be about one-thing and that is the best representative/available XI that takes the field.
I realize that objectivity is a commodity that is not in high-demand on this MB.
I read comments everyday and cringe at how subjective the posters are; a regular player does not play in a first-class game - oh; he is dropped - rather than he is being rested to showcase another player. How about rotation of players?
If WI cricket is going improve - it has to start with the supporters being objective and having full confidence in the players that are representing us.

Spinners have dominated regional cricket due to the pitches and quality of batsmen. Hence I mentioned the two specialist spinners. If the pitch is close to what it once were, then I go with three front line seamers. However, Holder is only averaging one wicket an inning, therefore he isn't and has shown he is NOT a front line bowler but rather a fill in fifth type of bowler. So I would go with a third seamer. I'm not sure what kind of form Roach is in, however, I haven't seen too many demand for inclusion either. I don't have a problem with Cummings/ Reifer/Roach as the third frontline seamer IF the pitch is prepared to support them.
