yuh guh sleep and yuh dream will be realized....dem nah change de side after losing after the 1st test loss, why you think they need to change this winning side?
In reply to Avatar
While I was tempted to give Blackwood a bligh...I say NO sah!
Keep this side together...taking licks as one and rebounding as one too!
What is these fellas problem with Bishoo? Bishoo stays in the Bajan team
In reply to FuzzyWuzzy
dem fugget he is a trident
In reply to doosra
Tek way Polly and Tridents good
We need a wrist-spinning leggie...Bishoo is a finger spinning leggie.
Is there a wrist spinning leggie out there that fits the profile?
Allyuh worst than a roller Coaster, keep spinning.
If the selectors had the same mindset half of these guys would not be selected, on its on to the next match, for the spin.
In reply to FuzzyWuzzy
Dem always haffi find someone to drop....suh its Bishoo turn...yuh notice dem nat complaining about de unworthy Cappo anymore? Chase chased dem outta sight and Hope giving dem no hope....poor Bishoo turn!
In reply to powen001
Powen, is not like u immune to changing your mind?
But dont feel too bad is not you alone. Current evidence has indicated that nough people on ya suffering from some kind of mental illness given the dramatic mood swings on display.
In reply to WestDem
I thought u were asking for the wall with the corn.
Hope will bat at #3.
In reply to camos
That would not be a bad move!
In reply to WestDem
Yuh batting like Kalli...nuff strokes
In reply to camos
The man was struggling as an opener.
I dont wanna see Shai at 3...leave him there at 4...
In reply to WestDem Why the hell do you want to change a winning team? is beyond me. This is why we can not get any where. This will give West indies a lot of confidence. You would change every one who fail. Stuart Law was brilliant, talking to the fast bowlers, and where to to pitch the ball and it work.
In reply to londoner
Brilliant indeed, this will give the players a lot of confidence in his abilities.
To me, we are one bowleer short. It is hard to maintain new ball pressure with just 3 pacers. I would drop a batsman and bring in Roach or Taylor.
Pakistan with only 4 bowlers keep letting us off the hook. As soon as their pacers get tired, we escape.I hope they keep playing 4 bowlers.
No changes. Benching the debutants will affect them psychology... today's win is attributed to total team effort... but kudos have to go to Gabriel, he bowled like a man on a mission with superior control.
In reply to DIEHARD
so you would rather a new guy struggle?
Westdem worried bout Cheesey spot....hence this thread....
4 failures with the bat
3 drap catches
He worried Blackwood may well return for the 3rd test at Cheesey's expense
In reply to imusic
You gotta come better than that! I am beginning to think Inderdat de reason for increase in idiots here... maybe it's old age!
In reply to WestDem
Is alright bruh....yuh boy safe
Dey wouldn't dare to change a winning team..................would they?
In reply to WestDem
Piton Head courtesy looking fer ya
He wants ta show you how he can bowl a googley with wrist spin and finger spin.
He say hilaire and hunte taught him dat .
In reply to imusic
Never! They hardly change a losing team ! Cheesy playing three tests!
In reply to sgtdjones
I cant get my head around that finger spin vs wrist spin leggies!!! Lol
In reply to runout
You know what's even funnier a few days ago he was lecturing a member on the forum about cricket.
Little did he know that player represented Guyana and the West Indies.
That member is related to Kanhai. How do I know he played and coached our team in T&T.
I PMed that member and we both were falling down laughing.
He just like Hilaire we win tests in the first innings.
In reply to sgtdjones
Oh ranted bro. So you had him cornered!!! That is funny.
Poor chap was busy setting traps for everyone that he forgot that there are people smarter than him. Funnyyyy lol
In reply to runout

In reply to Baje

In reply to WestDem

In reply to runout
He didn't forget. He's just trying to convince himself that there aren't.
In reply to Priapus
He has un retired
In reply to runout
I did not want to get into this but I must "all finger spinning leggies are chuckers" and they are a few of them around--no names please: wink:
A good win by the guys, but aside from Chase in the first innings, and Hope in the second, there was not a lot to get excited about from our batsmen. Our pacers won this match, and we're 1-1 going into the final Test with a number of batting passengers.
1) Vishal Singh - 53 runs @ an average of 13.25
2) Shimron Hetmyer - 54 runs @ an average of 13.50
3) Kraigg Brathwaite - 66 runs @ an average of 16.50
4) Shane Dowrich - 87 runs @ an average of 21.75
5) Shai Hope - 103 runs @ an average of 25.75
These batsmen would not be happy with these stats, including the latest Messiah, Shai, who averages just over 25 this series. That to me is a worry going into the Dominica Test. Yes, they are difficult pitches to bat on. But Chase, Powell and Holder are the only batsmen averaging over 30. These batsmen need to up their game, or our joy could be short-lived....
There will be no changes for the final not as long as Law has anything to do about it Australians don't like to change a winning combination so i see no changes for the next text.

Ya notice the ole hoe can't stay up past 10 o clock.
At that age ya need beauty sleep for all em wrinkles, the ole hag.
The consideration in selecting a team has to be determined by the playing condition of the wicket, the opposition and the strength and weaknesses of your players as well as performances. The team is and should never be a fixed structure but a core of players to suit the above mentioned.
The Jamaican wicket played different to the Bajan wicket. We played the same team where we lost one and win one (thanks mainly to the wicket condition).
There is need to rotate and not drop players pending on playing conditions. Therefore, I would like to see a true leg spinner that would have the batsmen thinking and not being predictable as well as another strike bowler. Normally Holder is unproductive and on a better wicket we need a impact bowler.
My suggestion for third test is rotate the batting lineup by bringing in Blackwood and push up Holder resting Hetmyer and Singh and bring in Joseph and Cornwall and rest Bishoo
In reply to cricketfreak
Australian do NOT have below average players like we do. Therefore, not a fair comparison.
In reply to Priapus
But in any case, Dominica has been known to take spin. Why are we bringing in another pacer? If we are to drop a batsman for a bowler then it would have to be a spinner.
Our batting is weak why would we drop a batsman?
In reply to azadtnt
Reasonable posit.
So the real question is...What type of pitch are they preparing in Dominica?
In reply to powen001
We getting a Flingingford made pitch!
In reply to camos
Which new guy?
Hety?
Yes..cos we at least production from Shai at his current position..finally..and we know that he failed miserably against the new ball.
Hety..got some starts at 3, and could still come good.
Or if not the new guy..I'd rather Blackwood..but I dont want to see Hope any higher than 4, he came in at the 16th over..and perished 8 overs into the new ball..that could mean something
In reply to azadtnt
And its not true really. They have dropped guys in a series to a)Accomodate a certain type pitch and b) if he replaced an injured player who performed consistently.
In reply to londoner
Why the hell do you want to change a winning team? is beyond me.
Winning team? Or just one out of every 7 matches or so?
I disagree!
THIS IS WHY WE CAN'T GET ANYWHERE
Braithwaite....0, 14, 9, 43
Powell.........49, 33, 38, 6
Hetmyer....... 11, 20, 1, 22
Hope...........2, 6, 5, 90
Singh.........9, 9, 3, 32
Dowrich......56, 0, 2, 29,
Out of 24 combined innings:
TWO scores over fifty
TWELVE single digit scores
ZERO centuries
In reply to SirGarny
We are not usually this bad. Have you seen the wickets in these two matches? Why do you think the Paki batsmen are struggling?
Blackwood for Hetmyer or Singh.
In reply to Baje
That's not an excuse. I can't agree with that.
Changes for 3rd test was indeed NONE!
In reply to WestDem
No changes and we lose the series 2-1.
We were carrying too many passengers in this worthless top order.
In reply to SirGarny
Correct is right!
