I had lunch with Chrissy on Wednesday, and she had a number of interesting insights into the travails of West Indies cricket. One swallow does not a summer make...there are a lot of problems in this team, which won't be washed away by one unexpected home Test victory.

Two out of the last three haven't been done in how many years. Even when the kids lose it is just a matter of a session or two where they let their guard down. Much better match prep and strength of concentration. Personally I think they should play more cricket in the various islands together when the local seasons are in. They can't go to England so develop their own.

Why is it so hard for some people to celebrate a Windies victory? Nobody is claiming corner turned or world championship but it was a comprehensive win. So I'll celebrate. You can stew in your hatred of Cameron/WICB and the fact that there are no yardies.

With all the beatings and jokes thrown around about our team,am still in a state of Euphoria over the win.Part of being a fan, is to remain hopeful and watch for that glimmer of hope. The lads are young and will go through their growing pains, but i like the potential of a few of the pieces. Go windies go.
