That was absolutely amazing.
I can't believe what I just saw.

LARGE UP NARINE!!!
In reply to Gun_Play
Well belief it- WI would have never use him an an opener.
I recall once he was pushed up the order for Trinidad and Ganga praised the mover, but the other commies were laughing as Ramdin for pushing him up.
I have always said that Narine is a front line batter.

Narine was also pushed up the order in a 50 over match against Jamaica in Kingston because TT was scoring slow, after 3 overs or so he changed the match completely,he had taken on all the Jamaican pacers scoring sixes and 4s.That was when he was quite new to the team,so it appears he was always a capable bat, more than capable I'll say.
It is called maximising talent
didn't he once hit 5 sixes in an over in an ODI vs Aus?

you frigging speaky spokey Bajan! is "big up" or you may say the man "large"

Up de ting, Narine!
I bet u don't know that one.
In reply to Emir
Clean hitting too... genuine cricket shots.
I'm impressed.
He has good hand eye coordination. I always argued that if he batted more sensibly in ODIs or even test, he could be more productive. In any form he likes to beat it. He is a very experienced T20 player now, so I am sure that the experience is helping him to maximize his skills.
Narine plays a lot of windball cricket
Ya gats to keep ya eye on dat ball and make clean hits or ya out
He has hit 6 sixes a few times in such in an over.

Buh buh buh that is applicable to any cricket
In reply to Narper
I think he means becuz its more difficult in windball cricket since the ball stays up in the air an your often out caught if u don't middle it or time it perfectly.
His point makes since if you've played alot of windball cricket to understand.
In reply to Narper
Ah know dat but he father wanted to help Philip and Cooper's concentration level high
and become straight hitters. In windball the ball is lighter and skies quickly.
The father noted such during a live interview with Faz.
Today, his opening partner told him the same thing during their onslaught
in the IPL match.
Ya gats to get up real early to get me Narps .

maaan...I still maintain this is true for all cricket
And BTW....sometimes you hit the wind ball cleanly but it remains in the air and you are caught...
In reply to sgtdjones
I do get you loud and clear
Damn good advice to a batter...
But I am also saying it is true for all cricket
In reply to Narper
I agree Narps.
Ya see this is before they played with a real cricket ball.
In front of Narine house today he has a wind ball wicket on concrete.
It's behind a fence wall.

I grew up on bumper ball in GT...as kids we played from sun up to sun down
Played some windball in T&T for fun...
the windball competitions in T&T were serious affairs...couldn't handle dat...I didn't like the pelting...it didn't look right to me
Big up to SN...show fail, khooli n Abdee villain how to do it!
