Chris Gayle is just out of form
In reply to kingdom
His lack of consistency shows that even to date he still doesn't understand certain key aspects of the game. Thankfully for him his power and ability to intimidate bowlers has allowed him to have a wonderful international career.
PS
plus he has good hand eye coordination
The whole team outta form

true that

Or is it that he can no longer see the ball?
Or is it all a conspiracy and they all are on the take?

Question does he have the ability to adjust his game to compensate for physical decline? The answer will determine his future

Out of form for 2 years?
Look Gayle may have his day in T20 but not like before.
He wont dominate a top competition like he did at his prime.
One of my former co-worker, a guy who 60yr old, big Gayle fan probably biggest I know said at the start of the IPL Gayle has lost his off side power, that he struggles to hit sixes on the offside in down to long off its a struggle and I've seen that in this IPL.
I remember back in his prime Gayle smashing the Ozzies quickes, Tait and co. for some of the biggest sixes around down long on and long off. Through cover he was so strong to.
If what we witnessing is the impeding end of Gayle's career I say kudos to him. He was never expected to reach this far any way.
Even with his suspect technique, he has achieved quite a lot with very little, so I say bravo to him!!!
He can now retreat to the comfort of his mansion, over looking Kingston, and count his millions while his detractors stew in their bile!

Not called for ... I haven't seen any on this thread. In fact all the comments were honest and made the same point

You must be new here!

Mussi born last night in fact.
Do you remember when they said Gayle wouldn't last 2 years, and Ganga was going to outlast him by far far far?
Notice who averaged 42 in Tests and who couldn't even buss 27 at no point in their career?

Chris Gayle is finished.
Almost 38 years old, a back injury that's not going to improve, reflexes starting to slow. Trotting round the T/20 leagues is what he's capable off.
All this wanting to play tests again at some stage is nonsense.

Gayle doesn't have many years left in cricket. For sure he will not dominate in the those domestic leagues as he has done.
