A good Dominican friend of mine told me once, in the rainy season it rains every day and in the dry season it rains every other day. So question for my Dominican brethren is it the dry season now?

No. Lots of rain. I love Dominica but Test Cricket should not be played there. Hoping for 5 days in a row without rain is a stretch.

3 out of 4 test matches played at Windsor Park have had results. The one draw with India went into the 5th day.
Where are you getting your information from?

From visiting Dominica many, many times. It is hit and miss with rain in Dominica. My last 2 trips there flights had to be cancelled due to rain and mud slides.
In the eastern Caribbean it's dry season but it always rain more around the full moon. It's a trend I have noticed and this affect my landscaping work schedule. Am in st. Lucia thou. But that's what I have notice

So true they have two seasons: pouring rainy and rainy, very green and lush island and the only one that could rival JA in pure natural beauty!

Have you ever been to Grenada Sir? And if so did you visit the natural rain forest in the middle of the island?

Yes I have been to Grenada, nice rain forests, actually I have been to most Caribbean islands even Cuba and Dominican Republic.

I have been all over the world but there was something about Dominica that was enchanting. Beaches are not the greatest but some real unique attractions to take in. I remember starting from the bottom pool of Screws Spa with a bottle of Johnnie Walker Black and working my way up to the first pool which was the hottest. For those who haven't been to Dominica, Screws Spa is a must it's a set of hot pools built into the side of mountain which is fed by water heated volcanically.
