Bishoo to Azhar Ali, 3 runs, Vishaul Singh, again. Another misfield. Dives over the ball as Azhar cuts the short ball to cover.
24.3
Bishoo to Babar Azam, 3 runs, too short, he rocks back to slap that one away into the gap at cover. Another poor effort from Vishaul Singh. Should've stopped that with the dive. Instead, dived over the ball

The ball has a way of finding players when they are struggling.Gotta be tough when you are not getting runs and not fielding well.I hope he comes around.

Why you say that? He'll play many more tests, I just hope he works on his game and tries to get better, and we're not seeing the best of Bishoo right now.

Bai, one ass-tute poster posited that Bishoo is a finger spinning leggie. And so we should look for a wrist spinning leggie. Maybe that is a clue where to start the search!

The poster might be on to something. Does NoGooglyShoo employ his wrist enough when bowling?

I always believe in MERIT.
A bowler may not have the perfect action/etc but if he is better than his counterparts, i would pick him
Also, the reverse is true -- i would not pick a bowler, just because his action/etc are classic text book.
Show me the NUMBERS of those being cited as Replacements of BISHOO.
I am not interested in the "Googly Garbage" that some posters are propagating!
As an Example -- Anil Kumble didn't have much of a googly, but he had many other variations.
Point is.... Googly is not the decider

Bishoo to Babar Azam, no run, edged and Dowrich drops it He dives to his right, but can't cling on in the rebound either. Perfectly-pitched legbreak, starts around off and beaks away. Babar pokes at this turning, bouncing ball. The keeper was just late to react, and hence can't close his hands around it

Devendra Bishoo to Babar Azam, no run, "Catchhhhhhh" was the cry from Bishoo, but Dowrich can't grab that. Dropped. What a clanger. Bishoo tosses it up beautifully outside off, drags Azam like a magnet and spins away sharply, Azam presses forward to defend, gets a tiny nick and it goes straight into the mitts of the keeper and pops out. Balloons up in the air, deflects off the first slip fielder's hand and drops to ground. Dowrich tries to gobble it up again but fails. A chance out of nowhere but it has been shelled. Bishoo is furious

I know its part of the game, its tough on the bowlers to create chances and have them go a begging.
