Wake Up Stuart Law..You're Dreaming!

SirGarny 2017-05-12 09:56:04

"We hoped for more life on the surface on day one, but we stuck to the task manfully," says West Indies coach Stuart Law. "Now, hopefully we can bat for a day-and-a-half and see where we go.

Nothing wrong with dreaming, I suppose! Given recent batting trends, it is far more likely for Chris Gayle to move his feet consistently at the crease than for the Windies to bat out a full day, much less 1 1/2 days.

Hope they prove me wrong!

I expect them to bat a day and a half to two days on this pitch

In reply to methodic... mark you the amount a balls faced already could count as one day.

Mind you that's only two tests...but as I've stated...I'd love to be proven wrong

Powell is already gone...right on schedule...out in the thirties.

They can bat a day and a half with frequent interruptions by rain!

I think we go make the half, don't under estimate Dowrich and the skipper now; they can put the pressure right back on Pakistan.

Well batted Windies...short of the 135 overs target...I'm proud of the effort...
