DIEHARD 2017-05-12 14:25:33

And a raas bare cupboard

Don't forget we have Ambris and Hamilton waiting in the wings.

Just ask VOR.

natty_forever 2017-05-12 16:37:36

In reply to thefacts... we need a wkt-keeper that can bat at 6.

DIEHARD 2017-05-12 16:46:15

In reply to natty_forever

Holder can bat at 6, he's averging 30...if he mantains..or increases that average..WI will be alright, once we reintroduce Roach..cos surely its a matter of time, and decide on the right spinner..I like Aljo..hoping he'll come along lke Gabriel

Trinidave 2017-05-12 16:57:36

Bravo needs tuh be in de team son.

natty_forever 2017-05-12 17:08:23

In reply to DIEHARD... could work with that. But would love a wkt-keeper good enough to bat at 6.

Daniyal: "I find it almost criminal that Nikita Miller has never got more than one Test. I've heard so much about him yet WI selectors continued policy of not selecting him baffles me. His record is Murali-esque. Any theories on why he has never made more than one appearance in the Test arena?"

Drapsey 2017-05-12 17:40:31

In reply to mikesiva

His first name is not masculine enough, and in addition has a Russian connotation to it. Not good in the current political climate.

Powell, cannot and should not continue if he can't make 50, it's unacceptable

thefacts 2017-05-12 19:56:43

In reply to Starzz

Bishoo has been handled real bad by Jason

While I would continue with Bishoo, but he hasn't sealed his spot yet

Same for Dowrich.

thefacts 2017-05-12 20:25:54

If it were UP to me, I would choose this 16 for the trip to England.
& Yes, this will require a lot of negotiations with some players.

o. Powell--------------Lewis
1. Lil Bravo
2. J Mo

Name one player whom I am being unfair to?

Only Dropped Hety and Vishaul from the squad

Retained KB, Powell, Hope, Chase, Dowrich, Jason, Bishoo, Gabriel, Joseph, Blackwood and Cummins

Added Lil Bravo, Lewis, J Mo, Narine and Jerome Taylor to the squad

Show me injustice

DIEHARD 2017-05-13 08:30:48

In reply to thefacts

I stand corrected..Lewis is indeed a good candidate.

I say he's next in line..averaged 49 in his 2nd FC season..centuries in T20Is and ODIs.

In spite of his low averages..he could be the next "one"

this guy desperately needs some exposure, there's definitely more to him than Cheesy

thefacts 2017-05-13 10:40:37

In reply to DIEHARD

Yes no one should have a problem with Lewis and J Mo atleast.

and its IMO, that Lil Bravo, Narine and Jerome who will be quite valuable to this very inexperienced team.

Runs 2017-05-13 12:00:31

Shitty team lol

thefacts 2017-05-13 12:15:22

In reply to Runs

Agreed

Right now, no matter who WI pick, it's gonna stynk

DIEHARD 2017-05-13 12:22:00

In reply to thefacts

It would be a team with potential..and at least the identified weaknesses would be..shored up some

I replied to an earlier post before you posted the above.
I have no real complaints with the team. However I think that Bravo has no real interest and therefore Hety stays.Lewis to me, is one of the more gifted players we have and we really need a #3 batsman. J Mo reminds me a lot of Chase in the mature way that he approaches the game. I would not be surprised to see Law calling for JMo and Lewis.Jerome Taylor? I dunno..he struggles over a series. I called for his inclusion in this test, but for a new series in England..I dunno.I think we need another spinner, Jacobs, maybe. I see England struggling against all types of leg spinners. I am not so sure about the new Narine. I have not seen him taking wickets.
I see no injustice sir!
