Statistically the WI bowling is stronger than the batting versus Pakistan.
You just beat Pak batting last mainly due to your bowling.
So why bat first? The Pakistan management and coach were elated when Holder chose to bowl first...had they won the toss they would have batted.....they DREADED batting last.

I ask myself that question over n over again.
Maybe cuz they bowed out Pak. cheaply in the 2 nd inning in the previous test match made them think that mentally they had their batters in a spin. It's the only 'solution' to it I can find.
