We did not win,, but the way we played, fought and stuck together bodes well for the future.

It has been ac long time since I saw a WI series performance like this.

Pak is a very experienced team, very good bowling attack and were number 1 not long ago.

For us to take them to the last over of a test in simply fantastic.

I look forward to our test future

Every single ALMOST was close enough to have gone our way, including today.

I am happy for this team...and yes..more work and growth must happen...

I cannot recall the last series against a top rank side when we competed on equal terms. The final result is never an issue for me with our cricket, it is all about the improvements we made and how we competed.

We are not far off from winning again despite the WICBC.

Management might suck but players have talent and will fight. Unlike recent crew. Guys have to play more cricket regionally. Not just at their home base. England is not available so use what we have.

We got wickets most times, our batting largely did not come to the fore in most sessions.

KBraff is made of sterner stuff , we did not see it in most of this series. pass

KPowell , got solid starts in most of his innings did not convert. pass

S. Hope , one good batting performance surrounded by some very poor one. bare pass needs some more work. There is another number 3

S.Hetmyer , one for the future got starts but his exuberance with the bat needs a bit of tempering and the gap between leg and bat when driving need to be a lot smaller. bare pass needs some work.

V.Singh , after an eye catching performance in the tour match, he did not flatter to deliver at any time , nerves or ..... fail , much more work required.

S.Dowrich , allegedly a better batsman than his predecessor , we saw no signs of this . His work behind the stumps was atrocious at times cost us dearly , seemingly not concentrating . fail , much more work required. There are others who can hold this position at the moment.

J.Holder , confused us in this series as his batting and bowling was above what we have come to expect solid lower order batsman , better than avg third bowler . pass +

R.Chase, did not know much of him before this , wow a real runs machine in this series , we all hope that he can reproduce these efforts more times than not .A+

D.Bishoo , unsettled some batsmen from the sub continent with spin , not as often as we would like . We missed his stubborn batting at times . pass but needs some more work.

A.Joseph, good pace with movement still learning his craft , unsettled more than a few opposing batsmen. In front of the stumps needs some improvement . pass needs some work.

S. Gabriel maybe the best bowler on the team , much improved with the ball and it showed . A true number 11 with the bat . more than pass but still needs some more work.

Look, our boys punched way above their weight. This was a Pak team, playing in pitches made in Pakistan, with lots of experience to boot, to take them all the way, something other teams- Aus, SL, SA, Eng, failed to do in the UAE, is simply remarkable.

Look at our players development: Gabriel is going great guns, Chase is a big revelation, Holder made progress with the bat and the overall never say die attitude displayed by the boys is going to take us far.

Really prod of them, as well.
They played 5 day cricket which is something we've asked for a while
They didn't just fluster away (calypso cricket)
they played hard.
Aot of positives to take away
I really think the core team should be kept together with some tweaks here and there.
A majority of the guys should play one day cricket cause they know should be able to bat out 50 overs having bat out 90 days several times in this series.
Lot of work still to be done, but at least they looking a lot more positive.
