I have never seen a spinner make the ball bounce and turn like that in the Windies. Not Warne, McGill, Qadir, Chandra..no one.
I thought our batsmen did well to keep him out for such a long time. Clearly Holder and Chase used their long reach to great effect.

In international cricket there is no player as likeable as Yasir. He enjoys the game. He has fun batting, bowling or fielding. Is as non-controversial as a player gets, and has this easy demeanor despite being a star athlete. Great human being. And getting better by the day. Cricket is richer because of Yasir.

The pitches have all become more responsive to spin. Bim's wicket was turning day one...unheard of back in de day. Sabina was also very spin friendly

His stats backs him up, will be amongst the all time greats.
