Can't fault Cricinfo. He has to go back to the drawing board.
How did this guy get past the national selectors? Was he that promising in FC despite a 33 something average (admittedly where a lot of WI players are, or less).
Vishaul Ding-Ding: the poor man's Chattergoon.

The FC standards are piss poor, hard to truly judge talent from it.
In reply to Runs
Yes but even by WI poor FC standards the last 10-15 years this guy takes the cake.

If research is done, people will notice that only in the last three seasons did Singh start to do okay in F/C cricket. Previous to that, even in the poor regional cricket environment, Singh had a batting average of around 15. However, the Selectors are to blame for this, why did they ignore Mohammed when Mohammed just lead the team to a historic win in one of the ODI matches. Very frustrating decision.

This PCL Singh averaged 26. More than a dozen batsmen averaged better than him this season.

Hetmyer averaged 40+
Same difference
A poor system will not consistently produce good cricketers

Montcin hodge 41
Kyle hope 49
Chanderpaul 62
Ambris 43
Hamilton 46
Cariah 43
Devon Smith 40

Those three weren't even the best of this PCL! Our selectors are a bigger problem than the PCL.

Too forking embarassed to admit they called it wrong re Shiv.

In reply to mikesiva... would be nice to see the last 3 season average. That will show who should and who should not.
In reply to doosra
I do not understand what you are saying, Mohammed already proved that he could perform at the international level, that he could handle the pressure, by making three fifties recently at that level, why not take a chance on him, why take a chance on unproven Singh and Hetmyer. Let us think logically, even Dujon call for Mohammed to be included in the squad.

Ah see fellas picking Narine and all in their XI...thank god some of them aren't selectors...
