In reply to Verstehen
Nothing more than the genius of MSD.
In reply to jen
Yeah.
Along came the crab without head.

Along comes Pollard with another trophy in his hand

In reply to Verstehen
Sorry, along came VOR..............
Didn't you hear???
In reply to jen
Nope, pure brainless batting by Pollard.
Dhoni did that back in the 2010 final, Pollard's first year in the IPL, and has been doing it both with India and T20 teams anytime he comes up against Pollard and many a time Pollard has fallen.
In reply to Verstehen
One of the only 3 batsmen in Mumbai team to score more than 300 Runs this season
How ironic
He is one of the first overseas players that Mumbai protects
during drafts
Plus the player is classified as a nonentity in cricket on the forum by West Indians.
In reply to sgtdjones
Look at his record for Windies and you'll understand private Jones
In reply to FuzzyWuzzy
But, but, limestone fuzz head
We are not privy to the instruction given to him by his coaches.
Only then can we be critical.
This player is in demand werld wide, that says something
In reply to sgtdjones
So is Dwayne Smith. So what. Recall him too?
In reply to FuzzyWuzzy
Nothing is impossible when Pollard takes the field for us.
Jonty Rhodes
Watch this limestone Fuzzy
Dwayne who ????
In reply to sgtdjones
Again look at their international records
In reply to FuzzyWuzzy
Limestone Fuzzy
I just look at the number of trophies won by the team he is on.
International records are quickly forgotten.
In reply to Discourse
Once VOR said something, this thing was done.

youre a strong advocate for Shai Hope and only support Bajan cricketers in a WI team. What's his international record for West Indies?
In reply to imusic
Show me one instance where I big up Shai Hope. Now if you said Paint you would be correct but you have no interest in facts ony the ted white and black. Be careful sarge Jones has usurped your position
In reply to imusic
You are accusing him with the wrong Bajan!! His wonder kid is Jonathan Carter
In reply to Verstehen
Dem guys don't learn
In reply to Pacy
Wrong again.. wunnuh can only catch me with Paint. Full stop
Carry on Pollard, jess mek dem FN haters cringe with jealousy, dem soon get brain hemorrhage.
In reply to Acid
Touche!
Dupe
In reply to sgtdjones
Pollard's contribution to the WI team as a batsman has been disappointing. If the coaches instruct him to play in a manner to fail, he is certainly carrying out these instructions. His brainless batting (if it is so) can only be blamed on him.
In reply to Acid
Same thing hey used to say about Lara.
Lara was wanted all over d world except here. Polly is a joy to watch along with the other Windians.
Who cares if he failed in d last match.
He was very good during the tournament .I would say he it is who helped the Krunal brothers blossom.
Pollard is great value at the franchise level, no one should debate that, whether for Mumbai, Trinidad before CPL and now Barbados. He's as good as you will get for a boundary rider, dives, takes blinder, hardly ever drops a catch and does play the match winning innings here and there plus can chip in with a few overs.
For windies, nothing to write home about. As one poster mention, same as Dwayne Smith. Those players i'd gladly have in my franchise teams but far down my list when international cricket comes calling.

Well you are correct, but why I say the genius of MS, is that he has used it but others haven't really used that to Pollard. Is the straightest fielders i've ever seen watching high level cricket to be honest. But you're right to the extent that if it always being done and you falling for it, you gotta get blame. In a way, it was disappointing because by Pollard's calibre, I was expecting that full pitch ball to go way back into the crowd. Guess the field played on his mind.
In reply to jen
You ever mistime a ball?
In reply to imusic
He does mistime too many put aways which is the let down for many who saw him as a teen. That moment when the glasses man, who is a quarter of a leggie out Pollard after he hit a six then point to his temple still stuck in my craw.

What's up pot?
In reply to jen
Pollard was never given a run like a Sammy or Holder is getting now neither is he given one as Carlos.
He is in and out of the squad.
Give him the same settled time and he will perform.
In reply to rillo
Do you know pollard was in windies odi set up since 2007?
What more run he needs? I'll bet he's played more matches than Jason and Carlos combined and perhaps just as much as Sammy. ..if not more.
