Big Belly Inzy vs Jumbo aka Cornwall

Andy99 2017-05-21 16:12:08

Inzy was a true great despite his size so that shouldn't hold back Cornwall from making the international team shouldn't it?

Well if Inzy had a say....he say no chance in hell!

Fitness has become a priority for Pakistan in the recent past, with the PCB backing the selectors and the team management to enforce strict policies. "We had a set a fitness standard which isn't really a tough one to start with," chief selector Inzamam-ul-Haq said. "But he still didn't meet the average level. So whoever the player is, whatever his performance is like, we could not select him. Akmal being dropped is a reprimand and it's a major blow for any player. He is a good player, we needed him, but we had to take a decision."

Akmal had weighed 91kgs with a fat-level reading of 115.6 - a measurement of over 100 is considered high.

I think Cornwall would break them scale.

fitness is not so much a problem for Jumbo, he has a guy name Chase, to contend with!

IMO Cornwall is a spinner first, that he can bat a bit, and may he an allrounder, his performances with the ball is of someone who can make the team on his bowling alone.

Nonsense.
He is a batting allrounder. Batsman first bowler second.

Consider the fact that was the LEADING BOWLER in the A team series in Sri Lanka.

Consider the fact that most of the times he bowls the most overs in the match out of all 22 players playing.

Consider that in the recently concluded regional 4-day competition, he averaged 25 overs per innings.

Consider that for his entire career, he has averaged 24.9 overs per innings.

And consider that for his entire career, he stay at the crease with the bat has averaged 32 balls.

How about 11 5-fors with the ball to 1 ton with the bat?

Now back to that A team series....consider that he was the leading wicket taker out of BOTH teams, with more the double the amount of wickets of the 2nd best wicket taker in the series, yes u read that right. 23 vs 11.

Oh and to top it off....he made 30 runs in 5 innings with 0 not outs in said A team series.

Yeah a batsman first.....fcuk u are posting here so u have internet access do some facking google search if u doh know before coming and talking trash like facts.

Then, to follow the logic of your well constructed post - how could anyone or any reasonable person complain about, doubt or question Cornwall's fitness?

There are questions about his mobility in the field.
