Multiple fatalities.

Narper 2017-05-22 19:06:01

There are a number of confirmed deaths at Manchester Arena following a reported explosion at an Ariana Grande concert, police have said.

Twitter users reported thousands of concert goers fled the arena covered in blood and crying, although it is not immediately clear what the reported "loud bangs" were.

The noises were heard towards the end of the show, with witnesses claiming on social media they believed the bangs were a "gun shot" or a "bomb".

"She finished her last song .. and we heard like a really basey bang, and all I can remember is just everyone ... was just running out... people were covered in blood, some people were having a fight, it was quite scary."

We really need to ban these people.

This is much too much now.

ProWI 2017-05-22 19:19:15

At least 20 dead, by now.

That's how Trumpites operate these days. When things like this happens, they hope for a particular outcome to assist in promoting their nativist right-wing agenda.

Sorry. Yes you are correct but that is what came to mind.

This artist is well loved in the West Indian community. I can just imagine a lot of them are at that concert.

Most of these attacks are committed by radical islamists.

If wanting to protect our women and children a right wing agenda then i an happy to be a part of it.

Narper 2017-05-22 22:20:34

Suicide bombing went off just outside the venue in a public place as patrons were leaving...seems lots of victims are very young teenage girls

If most of these attacks are carried out by radical islamists as you say then maybe the time has come for western governments to rethink their middle East policy.

If you bomb Syria and Iraq then their sympathisers are going to try to find a way to hit back. Women and children are killed by western bombs in Syria and Iraq too you know.

Maybe the time has come to withdraw from the war in Afghanistan. It's been going on since 2002 and the taliban are gaining the upper hand despite large scale western involvement.

Maybe it's time to stop vilifying iran and reassess western alliances with Saudi Arabia. Both Donald Trump and Theresa may sell lots of arms to Saudi Arabia happy with the fact that they are using them to bomb Yemen into oblivion causing famine and cholera. These western leaders conveniently ignore the fact that their Saudi allies produce more terrorists than all the other countries put together. But is Saudi Arabia on the trump ban list? No of course not!

Nothing will change. The cycle of violence will continue. The west will refuse to admit that there's a cause and effect relationship between western bombing of the middle east and these terrorist attacks. Until there's an honest appraisal of western foreign policy in the middle east these attacks will continue.

What happened to these young people is terrible and evil. But what is happening to innocent victims of western bombs in the middle east is terrible and evil too. As a British citizen I call on Theresa may to change her middle East policy. That would be the first step towards ending this cycle of violence.

Put that shit aside for now Mike. These cunts, whoever dem be, not blowing up 10 Downing Street. Dem fucking killing innocent fucking people for the most part.

It is not my facts. Most of these terrorist attacks against the West are carried out by muslims.

I get your point about policy but explain how the West policies cause these terrorists to murder hundreds of muslims in muslim countries.

These murderers are killing innocent people, all over the world, not because of policy but because people are not practising their version of Islam.

You people hate capitalism so much you even try to justify murdering little kids. Pathetic.

nitro 2017-05-23 06:09:58

President Donald Trump calls it correctly, an act carried out by losers.

Our resources must be focused on our real, modern enemies.

This can easily be one of your favorite track meets. I hope they maybe none of this type of successful attacks on any of these big meets with your favorite track stars and even worst for you, with you and your child in the stadium.

Trying to justify killing of innocents, you people are such losers.

At you age, you should know only Innocent People get killed. The purveyors of WAR are never in the battle field.

The terrorist never target the bosses only the weak.

What is the strategy behind all this? They are not going to take over the world and they are not going to get their caliphate. The result is senseless killing of innocent people.

You cannot justify this by linking it to misdeeds of the west.

ray 2017-05-23 09:02:48

There is no justification for this....but actions have reactions

I agree. My condolences to the families on the losses of life.

There is also a reason why "they" are not blowing up Jamaica.

black 2017-05-23 09:21:16

This is only going to create widespread hatred of Muslims, justified or not. It's human nature to link the misdeeds of a few to the masses. I am not saying that it is right but that will be the result.

And the circle of violence continues.

ray 2017-05-23 09:47:21

yuh mean there is not widespread hatred of Muslims?

djdrastic 2017-05-23 10:58:24

A tweet from an ANTIFA news and opinion blog regarding the attacks.

"Yeah it's sad that people are dead and injured from the Manchester explosion, but the hate speech Muslims will have to endure is far worse"

The supposed hate speech is worse than the actual bombing of pre-teen girls ?
What is happening to modern society.
