After a long battle with cancer.

Not my favorite Bond but the one I grew up with. The Saint, Ivanhoe, etc.

RIP Roger

Roger Moore, first James Bond movie I saw was Moonraker and For Your Eyes Only! Who can forget the title song by sexy Sheena Easton!

Add "The Spy Who Loved Me" to that list.

Carly Simon's Nobody Does It Better is for the top shelf.

Aw man sad

As Bond, he brought a different appeal - but still worth acclaim.

His humanitarian work over the years was also appreciated.

My original Star Boy...The Saint. He also brought a unique comedic flavor to the role of Bond.

May he RIP cry

'Moonraker' was also the first Bond film I saw (on TV). And just last week I watched for the umpteenth time 'The Man with the Golden Gun' on TBS.

R.I.P. Roger Moore.

I'm an oldhead. My uncle grew up on that show. I did some research and I think I managed to watch an episode or two on youtube. I decided to order the DVD box set of the black and white seasons. Fell in love with the show immediately.

I live in Toronto.
