What about $128K for a ringside seat?

Why Floyd? Why? You have enough $$ to last 3 lifetimes...

And besides...is this a conventional boxing match?

This reminds me of Ali VS Inoki... evil evil cry

It will be a conventional match.

The questions to be answered are whether Floyd at 40 and, two years since a major fight, no warm up, can regain the sharpness, agility and skills to overcome the onslaught of a younger 28 yr.old and, also, whether McGregor can transform the tactics of a street fighter into a more refined strategy to outbox a skilled boxer.

There lies the attractiveness and interest in this fight. People would to see and have those questions answered. In the meantime, some people are going to be a lot richer, and Money will be able to flaunt his riches more that he has done before.

As far as quality of boxing, it's likely to be a disappointment.

As far as entertainment, I think enough people are interested enough in the capability of a top MMA fighter switching formats to make for a spectacle worth watching.

Mayweather probably has most to lose, legacy-wise, but the $$$ is going to be astronomical, It'll dwarf the revenue from the Pacquiao bout.

McGregor has very little to lose. Again, the payday will be massive for him.

A net worth of $340 million I suppose isn't enough. Mayweather is set to earn $100m from this fight...

It's not worth the potential brain damage from a lucky McGregor shot...but I guess if Floyd's lifestyle cost's a reported $70 million annually, maybe he does need the money.

I don't even know if it's about the actual money these days instead of simply knowing he's pulled in such loot, for Mayweather.

The lifestyle's one thing, but the image is larger than life. He loves nothing more than promoting the fact that he pulls in 7 figures a month just by sitting on his couch.

What he's going to do at 50 or 60, who knows.

Can't wait to see the trash talk at press conferences. 99 out of 100 times Mayweather should win a boxing match easily, but do not rule out Conor McGregor knocking out Mayweather
