talking about birds – they have discovered my birdfeeder ----- and man – the critters will eat you out of house and land – I have bought 58 pounds of bird feed in the 4 weeks or so since I set up – and the stuff is not cheap -------- but so far they are still fun to watch

I picked up a little gem in my morning watch - Tencent Holdings Ltd. ADR
$272.20HKDPrice - increase $1.20 (0.44%)------ stocks at that price dont give a poor man like me much leverage - owning 10 shares cost $3000 ------ - it goes up a dollar - i make $10 dollars - which just pays for acquiring the stock --- stocks like that belong in my retirement account - not my TD Ameritrade play

i bought it and held it for a while thinking Trump usage would give boost - but the reverse happened so i sold - what i bought was whole foods with the hope that the Amazon acquisition will help - we will see

Amazon at 978.76 - only institutions and millionaires can buy in amount to make sense
Whole foods P/E is within range but I am not touching that as no significant growth in the short term
I wish more guys and gals here would talk investment by sharing ideas
This is what Marcus Garvey was talking about, having investment and enterprise within the community
I wouldn't hold out too much hope of that happening here!

would you believe i held Amazon when it was $42, Autozone when it was $36 and i got rid of them because for a while they were stagnant - i still track them in an Yahoo portofolio - the investments i got rid of over the past few years have accumulated a total of 703% --- so now i just hold --- it can be scary when you see the red - but i try not to panic anymore -

a couple years ago i contacted a brokerage in Ja to do a little investing but they made it seem so complicated – I just never bothered – but yes – I would be interested – PM me some knowhow – use to keep a savings there - but then i put my younger brother name on it - and that was the end of that

Obama brought in some new laws which make it a lot more complicated these days! You can only invest in stocks with a trusted local partner, if not u will be screwed!
I sold out at the point of the introduction of the new laws!
Now, I am thinking of going back but through the formation of a company!
Still in the process of working out the mechanics of that approach
