SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — Justin Gatlin showed the youngsters that age is just a number. As in, get down the track quick and post a good one.

A changing of the guard? Not on his watch.

The 35-year-old Gatlin surged past up-and-comer Christian Coleman to win the 100 meters on Friday night at the U.S. track and field championships. To celebrate, Gatlin sidestepped back down the track.

I still think Christian Coleman will be hard to beat in the 100 at Worlds.

Only gatlin has a chance of beating him.

Hello! Usain Bolt will be running the 100m at the Worlds. Are you seriously claiming that either Gatlin or Coleman can beat Bolt?
lol
The great man is going to bow out in style...you can take that to the bank!

Silver to de Grasse, bronze to Blake...Coleman and Gatlin left out in the cold.

I am betting you mikesiva, Gatlin maybe too old to win after the rounds but young Coleman is the heir to Bolt's throne.

The King will be dethroned in his final Worlds race!
