And why continue with Carter, a 30+ year old who averages less than 30 from a similar amount of matches? Carter has more than 10 years in regional cricket but frequently makes bad 'get-out-shots' and looks mentally uneasy at the crease. Carter is unlikely to improve!

And has a cricketer/sportsperson ever concluded he's harming the team because of lack of form and recused himself from selection? I hope Carter is the first to do so!!

Carter is unlikely to improve and thus is a waste of effort and resources.

Changes will definitely be made to the squad. I think Powell and Carter will be excluded.
