Sri Lanka women scored 257 against Australia and one woman scored 178 out of that 257. Incredible!!

West Indies did well considering they were 121/7 after 40 overs. What has happened to Deandre Dottin? Wasn't she the Kieron Pullhard of the women's team? She could only muster 7 from 48 deliveries.

Sri Lanka recovered exceptionally well. They were 130/6 in the 34th over, and ended up scoring 257/9. That 178 from 143 deliveries by their #3 batswoman must have been a hell-of-a-knock.

Saw highlights of that innings, we in the Caribbean thought we had some women with flair, that was an incredible innings, what about the recent innings by the Indian girl Mandhana, we can do with those 2 on our men's team.

She would walk into this Windies men's side. Why are the windies producing shytehound "batsmen" for such a long time now. Providing easy grist for the no brains stereotype and all that

Too many dot balls. Same problem with the men...they cannot bat consistently at 80-100 SR FOR 10 overs and more.

Campbell would have coached them to milk the spinners. I saw him in town yesterday he told me West Indian players do not like to run (singles).
