Surely the ICC should realise by now that the common denominator in these clashes always seems to be Stokes.
Still this could be a blessing in disguise. Rabada gets some rest and can avoid injury.

Rabada's absence will also have a small impact on South Africa's transformation numbers, which don't apply from game to game but do add up over the course of a season. South Africa are required to field a minimum average of six players of colour, of which two must be black African.

I remember Steyn spitting towards Sammy after a game and everyone here was up in arms against Steyn, what so different now and de article did state de four demerit points automatically get a one test suspension. No wonder WI cricket is in such state!

Might have to ring up Ntini and ask him if he'd be willing to turn his arm over come the next test ?
Usually the coaches take the hit and pick the like for like whatever shade of color player to fill in the gap and deal with the ANC Youth League and CSA when they get back home.
Either way neither Morris nor Phehlukwayo are not remotely as good as Rabada

Broad's multiple transgressions and misbehaviour have been repeatedly excused because people of his ilk are given more latitude to "express themselves", as was once suggested by a match referee in explaining why Broad had escaped sanction for his poor on-field conduct.

Seems like a more appropriate sanction would be a fine, not a suspension.
