Until this wealth creation reaches the common man on the street, I don't put much stock in these reports, irrespective of how positive they are.....
Not downplaying progress, however minutely incremental...

I give the JLP government credit. They have been desperately searching every nook and cranny for signs of growth to feed the public relations machine.
This is a very good thing. With such a dogged pursuit and obvious determination (not seen in 30 years) they just might find something worth reporting. I wish them luck. We need a break.
Stock market back home is a steal for those in the diaspora who would like to invest a little in the progress made thus far!

That will take years but doubtful. Jamaicans will find a way to self-destruct.

I think many more in the diaspora would invest heavily in Jamaica if the crime rate were lower and the corruption was much less egregious.
Remittances were approximately 16% of the country's GDP and is increasing incrementally. (circa 2016) That is staggering!
