many folks on this board like to endorse nonsense, the sad part about this nonsense was that they were 2 idiots, an idiot is an idiot.

Do you always ask dem difficult questions?

rubberd 2017-07-12 17:13:20

Condition #1 satisfied. Let us see if the goalpost will be moved again.

Taking down a tweet was the least of the issues.

The larger issue was a public apology by Bravo, but Bravo's lawyer was able to show that Dave needed to do a public apology as well, wording agreed.
I suspect this will not happen now as the big idiot will come off worse in public opinion.

So insisting that tweet be taken down before moving forward was a smoke and mirrors thing to give the effect that Bravo had to blink first in the stand off. No winners here!

Let me understand this, Rubberd is CEO of Company X, the accountant tweet you are a big idiot after you misquote about the type of contract, tell me how you would proceed.

I have to admit, I once cuss my boss like a pirate I front his face

rubberd 2017-07-12 19:34:14

In reply to tc1

Matter settled according to Bravo's lawyer.
After consulting with best legal minds at Caribbean Court of Justice.
Here is the sequence.
Cameron apologize
Bravo apologize and removes tweet.
CWI to issue statement first thing tomorrow.
Bravo cleared to play.
Return to table to agree on compensation.

In reply to rubberd

Well I was freaking RIGHT all the
Time Let me restate precisely what I
Stated in this Forum .

I emphatically stated that :

THE ONUS WAS ON THE GREAT DICTATOR

TO APOLOGISE FIRST , BECAUSE THE

FACT THAT HE WAS IGNORANT REGARDING

WHAT LEVEL CONTRACT BRAVO HAD .

BEFORE MAKING A PUBLIC STATEMENT .

IN MY OPINION THIS TANGIBLY

DEMONSTRATED THE BIG DICTATOR'S

COLOSSAL ARROGANCE AND SLOPPINESS .

IT WAS HIS BEING FACTUALLY INCORRECT

THAT SPAWNED THIS MATTER AND CAUSED

BRAVO TO MAKE AN INSULTING COMMENT

TO THE SLOPPY BIG DICTATOR .

Except CAMERON IS NOT HIS BOSS. This is not like a regular firm where the President is a productive officer and the highest chain of command. The players are not hired by the Board, they are selected because they are the best and WI cricket is not owned by Cameron or the Board. The President is not a revenue producing office. Cameron is not productive or whoever is the President of the WICBC is not a productive asset.

He is an expense item, a liability in the books.

FuzzyWuzzy 2017-07-12 23:21:28

I must say that I've developed new respect for Bravo.

How do you like how he set up the removal of the tweet by publicly stating that he wasn't the one responsible for establishing it in the first place? Well, if he weren't responsible for its establishment, why would he be attributed with its removal?

Brilliant!

Emir 2017-07-13 07:23:35

In reply to FuzzyWuzzy

No disrespect, but it is why WI cricket set up is dysfunctional- no one in the WICBC Executive is a productive asset.

Say, Cameron or any of the executive were to be removed tomorrow, voluntary or involuntary, will it suddenly make the team weaker. Will the hundred of players in the region suddenly get worse? Will the fortunes of WI cricket get worse?

The WICBC is unlike a regular firm where the exist of a top executive or all the executives may cause the collapse of the firm and where many of the executives were perhaps founders and long time employees directly responsible for it growth and profitability.

rubberd 2017-07-13 07:41:39

In reply to Emir

Cameron or any of the executive

That is the mistake Cameron is making, he is not an executive director and therefore should not be involved in the day to day running of CWI.

nick2020 2017-07-13 07:43:18

Bravo’s attorney Leslie Haynes

Bajan attorney.

In reply to rubberd

IF YOUR SEQUENCE OF OF EVENTS ARE

CORRECT , THEN IT MIRRORS PRECISELY

THE SEQUENCE THAT I STATED IN THIS

FORUM MONTHS AGO .

ALLOW ME TO INFORM THE JACKASSES IN

THIS FORUM THE STARK FACT THAT IT WAS

THE BIG DICTATOR WHO WAS & IS

RESPONSIBLE FOR THESE CHAIN OF EVENTS .

IT SURE AS HELL WAS NOT BRAVO . THE

BIG DICTATOR , IN THE HEIGHT OF HIS

CONSUMING ARROGANCE , BELIEVED THAT

HIS PERCEIVED POWER IN WEST INDIES

CRICKET MEANT THAT NOT KNOWING

PRECISELY WHAT LEVEL CONTRACT BRAVO

HAD WAS A TRIFLING MATTER .

HE FIGURED THAT HE COULD MAKE A

PUBLIC STATEMENT , AND GET AWAY BY

STATING AN OUTRIGHT LIE .

I AM ON RECORD IN THIS FORUM STATING

THAT SINCE THIS MATTER WAS CAUSED BY

THE BIG DICTATOR . HE MUST FIRST

APOLOGISE . THEN BRAVO SHOULD

APOLOGISE .

FRANKLY MY BELIEF IS THAT THE EMPEROR

AND HIS MINIONS ARE GETTING WORRIED

REGARDING THEIR HOLD ON WEST INDIES

CRICKET .

I HAVE NO DOUBT THAT BRAVO IS GOING

TO GET MUCHO DINERO , WHY ???

BRAVO WAS NOT ACCORDED A LITTLE VERY

IMPORTANT THING CALLED DUE PROCESS .

IN HIS ALL CONSUMING ANGER , THE BIG

DICTATOR BYPASSED THE WICBC/CWI

DISCIPLINARY THAT WAS NOT A SMART

MOVE . MY TAKE IS THAT BRAVO WAS

PUNISHED MORE THAN ONCE FOR THE SAME

OFFENSE .

THIS IS WHY I BELIEVE BRAVO IS GOING

TO GET BIG BUCKS FROM THE WICBC /CWI

MORE THAN LIKELY THERE WILL BE A

CLAUSE STATING THAT THE AMOUNT OF

MONEY BRAVO RECEIVES WILL NOT BE

DISCLOSED .

FuzzyWuzzy 2017-07-13 08:02:30

In reply to Emir

No one is indispensable. West Indies cricket survived Bradley worrell Sobers Lloyd Richards Lara chanderpaul. And yet it will survive Cameron. So what's your point?

No disrespect! big grin

FuzzyWuzzy 2017-07-13 08:07:03

In reply to rubberd

Good point. That's why I believe that the new CEO is asserting himself and brokered the "peace"

POINT 2017-07-13 08:16:31

BTW , the Big Dictator's behaviour in
a Radio Station recently reminded ALL
and Sundry what a Nasty Piece of work
the Big Dictator really is .

It is quite possible that his behaviour played a part in this Settlement . Hopefully the Big Dictator will understand that when making Public Statements :

IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT WHAT

YOU ARE STATING IS FACTUALLY CORRECT .
THIS MATTER WAS CAUSED BY HIS

COLOSSAL ARROGANCE , AND THAT IS WHY

I STATED HE HAD TO APOLOGISE FIRST .

Hopefully the Big Idiot has learned
that :

FACTS AND WORDS MATTER

As usual the Jackasses in the Region
salivate over the fact that Bravo
Apologised , completely ignoring the fact that the Big Dictator also Apologised ; and perhaps did that first , As I stated in this Forum on
several occasions .

It was a humbling experience for the
Great Dictator , having to apologise
for making an Ass of himself . Perhaps he may now be called THE APOLOGIST .

POINT 2017-07-13 08:29:59

In reply to Emir

I agree with Your Assessment , Cameron
is also a liability because HE is
costing the WICBC/CWI MUCHO DINERO .
ALL BECAUSE OF HIS CONSUMING ARROGANCE

This is money that could have been better spent improving promising Youngsters in the Region .Unfortunately this fact is lost on his Minions in the Worst International Cricket Board in the
Commonwealth .

tc1 2017-07-13 09:34:57

In reply to FuzzyWuzzy/ Rubberd

My experiences may be different to your, but every company that I work for the CEO/ President is involved in EVERY major decision in the company.

rubberd 2017-07-13 10:00:12

In reply to tc1

Correct the CEO is an employee and usually a member of the board. An executive president would also be an employee however in the case of CWI the board members are elected to office by their regional associations . The elected then select from among themselves the chairman.

FuzzyWuzzy 2017-07-13 10:11:26

In reply to tc1

Rubbered has it correct. The CEO and president are separated at cwi. The pres is not a day to day executive. He's supposed to lead policy and strategies and the CEO implements those

carl0002 2017-07-13 10:18:32

In reply to rubberd

Dave needed to do a public apology as well, wording agreed.

Wasnt this a part of the initial solution to resolve this issue? Dave was to issue a joint statement with Bravo, then Bravo started taking advice from his brother and who knows who else and everything went off the rails.
