What has happened to Johnson Charles
In reply to ponderiver
How much weed do you smoke on a daily basis?

I have time for Johnson Charles. But he hasn't been making runs lately.
He is a dangerous LO batsman and excellent in the field. Still young enough at 28 to be in the mix

Totally agree I am surprised that he hardly rates a mention these days.
I would have him over Powell both Powells come to think of it
And a few others who are being touted.
Not quite sure what the poison Dwarf is alluding to.
I swear someone dropped him on his head...
In reply to ponderiver
He was dropped from the windwards team in the last regional competition

Batsmen get paid to score runs. When you don't do your job you get fired

His stats are great for a Lucian. ...
Sammy set the standard years ago .
No joke mi did have a real soft spot fuh JC.
Hope he manages to revive his career.
In reply to ponderiver
Thing is as bad as his stats look when he gets on a roll he's hard to stop.
I expect to see him back in WI colours real soon. Man might light up the CPL this season
Not sure what the point of posting his FC stats is, but his ODI average doesn't look out of place in a WI team at all.
Charles Bronson had a menacing presence at the crease...so what's his status?
Hanging out with Sammy.

I believe he signed to play in a t20 league. I think he is on the same team with Chris Gayle and Badree. It was reported on the Sportsmax Zone last week.
The St Lucia cricket body destroyed him by foolishly putting his name on a stand at Beausejour.. This made him think he had arrived at his pinnacle and thus nothing else to achieve. Toast!!
When will we in the Caribbean learn that it is bad policy to dish out honors to incumbent sports people??
In reply to sunfish
St Lucia is a young country and spotting heroes are thin on the ground more so in cricketing circles.
It is a only Natural that they would want to honour one of their own by naming a stand after him.
Had he been made an ambassador as they did with indecent haste with Sammy, I would be for calling them out.
Charles is a victim of his time, even though there is still a lot of cricket left in him.
In reply to ponderiver
What kind of cricket you watching?
Cane cutting
In reply to sunfish... unless is UB.

That was an opportunity for politicians to score political points
