The Leewards continues to be the weakest link, where are the Vivs, Roberts, Richardsons, Ambrose and the Ottos?
Rashawn Worrell struck a fine century for Barbados who beat Leeward Islands by 19 runs in Series 4 of the Regional Under-17 limited overs Tournament.

My best cricket buddy for the last 45 years, is Antiguan.
We've discussed and watched cricket, called the stadiums from this Cowtown to get scores, over the years.
So I know of Leewards cricket.
I remember being at Kensington Oval, watching a game between Barbados and Trinidad, while listening to a game on my Transistor radio, between The LI and WI, calling him every evening to give him feedback about the game and players.
BTW, he and I spent a couple days with Sir Everton and one day with Conrad Hunt
If he was on this MB, he would blame the coaches and the ex-players for not getting our youngsters, up to International standards
Once he was representing Alberta cricket association, at a function in TO, got into an argument with Richie, about Ricardo Powell
Richie had the gall, to tell him Powell will be a star, he is one of the best batsman in the region.
I received a called after, letting me know Richie was clueless about talent.
He and I already knew, Powell and DRS, did not come close, to the standards we saw in previous batsman, and to cow corner were their best shots.
So the Leewards I am aware of, especially hearing so much about Antigua cricket over the years, that I ended up marrying a Richards. lol lol

I really do not see what is your problem. Leewards are becoming more competitive at these levels. We lost by 19 runs in chase of a good total( based on this tournament) of 200 plus. Then we posted 241 vs TNT before the game was called off. The team is performing well despite their many challenges. Talent has never been an issue with the Leewards but it seems like we are preparing better and therefore competing well.
