Don't Expect Miracles from Stars

The Brothers Bravo, Pollard, Narine, Badree, Gayle, Possibly Russell, Samuels, Rampaul possibly coming back into the team, has the potential to win all their 12 remaining ODI matches before the cut off period for automatic WC qualification.

But, but the boys need to be in an English camp under a professional coach in order to produce the goods. You can't expect a "camp" for a few days before the tour in Barbados and then expect them to win.

There are plenty of opportunities available for cricketers today they don't have to sign up for this

Can't have it both ways
This is the way it would have been for the youths and we'd slaughter them for underperforming

So the problem is still WICB ineptitude
Law would agree to a short meaningless camp? Would Jimmy?

This is WI cricket
Win a world cup with poor prep and no uniforms and with cussing

So let them be, the one difference is that the public will come to watch
Baby steps

But ... but... but they are stars and stars do the impossible. Even a one day camp should be enough for these big guns. Let the games begin...

Do what Stanford did and we will win.

He had a regimented camp any violations and you went home.

Even the best team are given the best preparation by their management, it should be no different for our boys

So why do the best teams prepare the most?
