"It was done in opposition to something, not for something, else". They (Republicans) have traditionally been for smaller Government but even people that are for smaller Government, have to have a plan to keep/make it smaller. They never bothered to ask themselves, "what if our opposition to Obamacare, work?".

What do we do next?

There were still going to be opposition to repealing Obamacare but they could have taken credit for fixing it, rather than trying repealing it.

Even the Commander-in-chief is confused.

It is my belief that the Republican Party in modern Times is only interested in Rich people getting Money ; via various Tax Breaks for the wealthy .

History informs us that it was the Republican Party that championed the cause of African Americans , but that
switched when the Democratic Party under the leadership of both John Kennedy & Lyndon Baines Johnson , the
Democratic Party became concerned about the well being of African Americans , while the White People in the South switched their allegiance to the Republican Party .

This is precisely why most of the South always vote for the Republican Party . Lyndon Johnson realized that this would happen when signed the Civil Rights Act .

Since then nothing has changed regarding most White folks allegiance
to the Republican Party . When I came to the USA , I asked my Uncle who was here years before , why is it that most African Americans vote for the
Democratic Party he told me that it is because the Democratic Party does things for African American People , which was & is True to this very day .
The Civil Rights Movement was financially supported by many famous
Hollywood Stars , Marlon Brando . Frank Sinatra ; Paul Newman etc . obviously Harry Belafonte ; Sammy Davis Junior ; Sidney Pottier , Ossie Davis etc .

The difference between both Parties
in my opinion is this . The Republican Party is mainly for the Rich getting Richer , and YOU must pull yourself up by Your Boots strap . The salient question this , who the
Hell that can happen when some Schools are a lot better than others . WE also still live in the stigma of Racism .

Look at how President Barack Obama was treated , despite the fact that
he did everything Right in his Education . Yet despite his achievements and his Presidency , he was treated with scorn & disdain in this Country .

To show their utter disdain & contempt , the American People with assistance from the Russians decided
to vote for Donald Trump , a man whose knowledge of Government & how it works or should work is exceedingly shallow .

But as I have always stated in this Forum , When You Vote for Feces , You cannot complain if You get covered in Feces . Time will Tell whether most
Americans have learned anything from
the Presidency of Donald Trump .
