The U19 cappo gotta start making some runs.. Yadram or Kalli should be the captain.. Joshua Persaud and Stewart need to fight for the keeper position..
How many duck d skipper made in the 5 match series?
Hopefully couple other guys make a name for themselves in the upcoming U19 tournament...

Yeah I've been looking at the skipper score. Dont' think he passed 10 or made more than 20 runs in all the matches so far.
Don't know if it's the pressure or what.
But yeah got to give it up to the rest of the guys they playing well, nd seems liek they got that fighting instinct in them.
Bhaskar Yadram
Good thing about the series is that different players stepped up in various matches where WI won.
Quick bowling though seems weak and it was the spinners who bailed out West Indies. There was this guy peamberton who did well in domestic U19 tourney. Is he not eligible this time?
Well fought win young men.
SCORECARD
Congrats to the team and congrats to Keagan Simmons on his undefeated century
Congrats also to keeper Persaud on 46 runs and 4 catches and Yadram for 3 wickets and 21 runs
Captain Stewart having a bit of a horror run with the bat lately. Hopefully he'll snap out of that soon
In reply to anthonyp
That is 'lil Emmanuel Stewart', best batting prospect across all age groups in the WI according to the one and only Commie.
In reply to Andy99
Commie have a kinda reverse midas touch
He touted Kuk as the next West Indies captain
He said the next big bat in the region was Jonathan Carter
He also anointed young Stewart
Hopefully Stewart still has some time to Reverse de Curse
What is the cut off point for age calculation for the 2018 U19 tournament?
A couple of them in this team will turn 19 in December this year and the tournament starts early January next year...
In reply to anthonyp
give the captain some slack, 2 years ago your hommie could not buy a run, now he is the #3 bats in the senior team.
In reply to Kay
I think cut off is September 30
In reply to positiveg
OK then all are eligible...
That is what I thought.
Simmons, Yadram fire Young Windies to dramatic series win
DURBAN, SAOff-spinner Bhaskar Yadram held his nerve to bowl a brilliant last over as West Indies Under-19s snatched a dramatic two-run victory over South Africa Under-19s to seal a 3-2 win in the five-match Youth One-Day International series here yesterday.

He scored 45 in the 2nd match that they won. The Captain has not done well with the bat but he just captained his team to a series victory. Emmanuel is a good young talent so I am sure he will come good. Ease off the youths and congratulate them for a big series win.
In reply to imusic
he touted Shai Hope too
In reply to voiceofreason
Dude, for one me nah being hard on the youth. I been looking at his score and they were low, so I'm asking if it's pressure or what.
Cause being tasked with captaining a team will bring pressure that is new to most.
I have congratulated them on their win.
And looking forward to another series win vs Zim
