As to “temporary player amnesty”, the word “temporary” is critical, given the fact that it is now accepted that the West Indies team will not automatically qualify for the 2019 One Day World Cup, as they are well outside of the Top Eight and will need to seek qualification through a playoff series with others. In this regards, the West Indies authorities have finally now become “desperate” to save West Indies name as there is a strong belief that the third string West Indies One Day teams of late, will struggle to compete with these other teams. The recent series and loss to Afghanistan suggesting the gap is very close.
If the West Indies fail to progress to the 2019 World Cup, following their non-qualification for the Champions Trophy earlier this year, there is every possibility that some at the International Cricket Council (ICC) can easily argue, that the $142 million US reportedly to be given annually to some of the leading cricketing nations in the top eight rankings, should not be allocated any more to the West Indies. It is a forthright opinion, which if based on facts in Test cricket and One Day cricket may hold a lot of sway.

So let's get the "seniors" back in the team....give them a temporary amnesty
If they help us to qualify for World Cup 2019, then the annual US$142M from the ICC should not be in danger. We can drop them soon afterward anyway
If however, they fail to help us qualify, we could blame it all on them and proceed uninterrupted with our present course of action

Cameron is not a man of his word, the PM's of the region can attest to such.
I am expecting him to back track an rescind, any thing implied or not.
What bothers me is not a word from the Seniors, why would such prevail when TEMPORARY amnesty is being offered.Do they know something we aren't aware of?
Journalism in the Caribbean suck, they all sing fer dem supper when CWI calls, promises were made to the Seniors in Maimi. Meeting were held nothing done.
How many called out the Administration?
I am an outsider looking in, no comment by seniors to date is a concern.
I don't trust this Administration with this Board of Directors.

Heard Wayne Lewis on the genesis of this farce, discussion between Wavell and Cameron. Same two that cause it in the first place. What they need to do is repeal that MOU that causing all the problems. You cannot get something for nothing is a universal rule and CWI ain't offering a thing.

l would like to remind Everyone about the fact that For Years the Emperors of the WICBC have commissioned several Reports . When they get those
Reports , they quickly discard them
without implementing the salient features of those Reports .
