Former FIFA vice-president, Austin Jack Warner has come out in praise of Cricket West Indies (CWI) president Dave Cameron after the latters decision to relax the eligibility rules for senior Windies cricketers.
Recently CWI decided to give amnesty to those players who miss regional competition, paving the way for them to have every opportunity to represent the region at the highest level. This development has found favour with Warner who said: West Indies cricket is on the march again and for this, Cricket West Indies should be applauded for their most progressive stance in abandoning their former archaic policies, which denied our best players the opportunity to represent us.

Look I have always said the best WI team must always play.
And this is what Jack is supporting
I still do not trust the CWI and Cameron....but it's a start and I am pleased with this development....I hope it is not too late
I did not properly express myself
properly by those remarks . I still
remain very critical of the Worst

Commonwealth .
