Tiger Woods had Vicodin, Dilaudid, Xanax, Ambien and THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) in his system when he was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence in May, according to a toxicology report released Monday.

I see mostly pain medication, including the increasing use of THC for pain. The outlier is Xanax, which is anxiety treatment and to get him to sleep through the pain. I must say, there is quite a mixture to be weaned off.

Pain killers are no joke.

I remember when I had surgery I opted not to take the pain killers. I made it thru.
Then I tried that again after dental surgery and that was a huge mistake. I crawled to the pharmacy and popped those pain killers like they were skittles.

i had the exact same experience. wisdom tooth surgery was what introduced me to the joys of vicoden. i have never before or since felt more pain in my life. i can see how they are addicting.

A knee replacement is over 20 days of intense pain.

Pain is relative to the recipients threshold, thus the explosion of ready to prescribe doctors who are quick to provide you with potent opiods, just because you are in "terrible pain".

Avoid opiods at all cost.
