Bajan peps: I am late to celebrate (here) my dear friend/mentor of many years who passed last week. He gave 48 years of good service to the Anglican diocese in which he touched and shaped many lives.
His commitment to people, his exceedingly patient ways - his extended explanations of everything - has influenced me significantly. Outside of everything positive you will read in the media about Father Marshall, he was a BOSS at dominoes, he would walk over by me and some evenings and just sit on the patio and discuss everything from the scriptures to politics, or if the fellas where over: a game of dominoes. He guided us all, surprisingly in a way void of dogma and deeply routed in the goodness of humanity.
I repeat: 48 years of service.
Lost his battle, after a fight with cancer. RIP
Service is Saturday.

CXC exams at Combermere.... you would have left by then....
Had an encyclopedic memory for genealogy. When he met someone, his hand out... it was always followed by: Young man, who were your parents... and from there he would tell you your entire history!
The man had people at the core of his mission.
Really look forward to seeing you at the funeral service
