6 in a row for Sammy !!!!!
Narps I just saw someone posted this
He knows how to get the camera on himself as all great actors do.
Now I must admit the above is creative.

He strap up his bowling hand so he wouldn't have a to bowl
He saw what happened to de Name man
"We just didn't execute our plans. When you have four, five guys on the legside, you want the ball on the leg-side. The opponents have come and used the conditions well than us. We just didn't have the mental toughness. Obviously we are disappointed. We still have four games. Hopefully we will play well for some pride."

Sammy was let down by his team- Akmal, Jerome Taylor, Watson and a few others.
I feel sorry for him, his team and St Lucia.
I rooted for him as if they were Trinidad playing
Not fair

It just goes to show...captaincy is highly overated in T20s
Many here claimed Sammy is the greatest cappo ever since he brought home two T20 World cups
Most of us knew it was the seniors with vast amount of T20 experience in this format who brought home the world cups
In reply to Narper
Not sure why you are devaluing him though.
His leadership of his men was critical. WI is the most difficult team to captain and Sammy is a good man, a strong leader and more than capable cricketer.
In reply to Emir
I am not devaluing him
I am stating the facts...he jus lost 6 in a row leading a star studded team
In reply to Narper
At the end of the day, it is a team sport.
When you have Jerome Taylor bowling tata, Watson fishing, Akmal doing what he does best and a host of washed up stars, you cannot blame Sammy, who by the way, out batted them.
In reply to Emir
If he had won then he would have been credited...so ....it goes with the territory when you lose you
In reply to Emir
Haven't you been blaming Cappo Holder in tests?
In reply to Narper
Yes, and he deserves it and No relevance to Sammy

Spot on

You should know by now that no matter how many superstars u have on your team, they not winning a damn thing without good leadership. cause one thing i know about a team full of stars is that every one of them think they know better than everybody else, and if left to themselves the result will always be chaos. So stop the foolishness and give Sammy his credit. Getting that band of primadonnas to work as a cohesive unit could not have been easy by any stretch of the imagination.

I honestly believe that Sammys leadership greatly helped in the T20 wc. Especially the second one. He took the skills experiences and talents and used them efficiently

Sammy is the 2nd best batsman in terms of average and s/r:

Well said!

I agree, I think he won the players respect.
... second best because of an average skewed by a 60*. And being that, nuh wonder them caan win if he going lead in that department. How the bowling? Which is the real concern ...
If it will make some alyuh feel better, I would reappoint Sammy as WI T20 cappo over the Name man anyday.
In any case I called for the inclusion of Sammy in the WI team since the last CPL
Sammy was a 'reborn Christian' when he chastised the WICB after leading the side to victory in the 2nd WC.
I am no longer inclined to share licks on Sammy
But 6 in a row is 6 in a row

"At most of these venues, me and my sons found the audience mostly from either India or the United States. So there is a great market and readymade audience for cricket in the US," Pandya said.
