Transfer Deadline Day...
DONE DEAL - The OX JOINS LIVERPOOL
Liverpool have confirmed the signing of Arsenal and England midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
The Reds have paid £35m for the 24-year-old.
DONE DEAL - Spurs have signed the Ivorian Serge Aurier from PSG for £23mil.
A right-back so replacement for Kyle Walker
Yeahhhh..................................!!
Statement from Serge Aurier:
This is a fresh start for me and I will do everything to make the Spurs fanbase, which is huge and diverse, proud of me.
The fans are the most important people at any club and I am looking forward to showing them and everyone at Spurs the real Serge Aurier.
Man City have made a second bid for Alexis Sanchez! Previous bid of £50m rejected.
The Arses wanted Sterling in exchange but City refusing to let Sterling leave. They only want a cash deal for Sanchez!
Fernando Llorente is currently at Hotspur Way having a medical ahead of completing his Spurs move!
Get it on!
Who else could be on the move?
Crystal Palace want out of favour Liverpool defender Mamadou Sakho to return to the club after a successful loan spell last season.
Philippe Coutinho's move to Barcelona has been one of the long running transfer sagas of the summer, with the Brazil forward still the number one target for the La Liga club, despite the Reds rejecting a £114m bid.
Chelsea target Drinkwater might not be the only one of Leicester's Premier League winning side to leave, with Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez's futures still not clear.
With Fernando Llorente having a medical, Spurs have now turned their attention to Everton's Ross Barkley. #COYS

You beat me to starting this thread....
Aurier is a great buy...don't really care for Ross Barkley.
DONE DEAL - SANCHES TO SWANSEA
Swansea City have got their man. Renato Sanches joins on a season-long loan from Bayern Munich.
Like this player and would be good to see him in the Premier league!
In reply to DAVE400
Agree re Barkley... we need Llorente to sign though!
Spurs have eyes on Origi
In reply to NineMiles
Big signing for Swansea.
In reply to NineMiles
Have you looked at the Arses' transfer activity? them dead...is all I can say...
In reply to NineMiles
Sanches to Swans is a good deal indeed.
In reply to DAVE400
Who would want to go play for them now??
Lester rejects Mahrez bids from Roma....Barca open talks...
can't see that deal going through though...Mahrez has become very predictable.
In reply to DAVE400
Divock Origi off to Wolfsburg on loan.
In reply to NineMiles
Chelsea were hard in for LLorente up to yesterday .... yuh notice how players seem reluctant to go there now ...?
Lukakau ....Ox turned down more $$ from them to play for us ...and now, it seems, Llorente.
Can you shed any light on this Ninesy old chum .....seeing as how you live a stones's throw from Stamford Bridge.
City agree Euro 60 mil deal for sanchez
In reply to JohnBull
Hahahaha....yeah, this West London area is a real dump of a place!
Think it says a lot about Chelsea and Conte especially that players don't want to go there.
For me, the surprise so far was Matic leaving for ManU.
In reply to DAVE400
Agree or offer?
Is Virgil van Dijk leaving Southampton?
Stay tuned for more...
It is looking increasingly likely van Dijk will be staying put!
No new offers in
In reply to NineMiles
Not sure that English is dave's first language ...the 60 mill for Sanchez is only an offer so far ....
Rumour is that Arsenal have offered 90 mill for Lemar, which probably means that they will sell Sanchez if Monaco accepts.
In reply to JohnBull
Yep, just heard the same on SkySports News...£92m they say. Smacks of desperation by the Arses!
In reply to NineMiles
More desperate than a battyman being chased by a mob in Kingston ..
Sad news for them is that Lemar would rather play for LFC but we've bid 70 and won't go higher it seems. Arsenal are in bad, bad shape.
In reply to JohnBull
Spurs are trying to take Barca midfielder Andre Gomes on loan. The Hammers are apparently also interested!
JB, a deal will go through if only you'll let Coutinho go!
Let's keep the updates coming... back in a couple of hours!
PSG sign Mbappe on loan with option to buy.
Lemar refused to go to the Arses... who can blame him!
So looks like the Sanchez move to Man City is also off despite a £60m bid...the Arses will be holding onto an unhappy player who can then leave for free next year!
In reply to NineMiles
Mamadou Sakho gone to Palace for 26 mill. Hopefully that means we getting Van Djyk. Bad mistake if not as he'e miles better than Lovren.
Told you weeks ago that Coutinho was not for sale. Barca took Mascherano and Suarez off us ...they can go hug a nut now.
In reply to JohnBull
Latest on Ross Barkley is he has also rejected a move to Chelsea!
In reply to JohnBull
Good business all round.
Re Coutinho, the Spain window doesn't close until tomorrow night!
Chelski finally get a player... Zappacosta from Torino. A wing-back apparently!
Man City have ended interest in West Brom's Jonny Evans!
Looks a done deal for Llorento but teams yet to confirm!
#COYS
Less than two hours to go.
Funny how the Arse fans so mute!
One hour to Transfer Deadline.
Come on...confirm a few more deals dammit!
Danny Drinkwater to Chelski? Stuppsssss!
This is what the Arses missed out on... Thomas Lemar scored a cracker of a goal against the Netherlands this evening!
Ross Barkley was at the Chelsea training ground to undergo his medical but had second thoughts and left.
Wow
Conte must be going mental at the minute!
Transfer Deadline closes...but there will be quite a few deals confirmed over the next few hours.
Who are the winners and losers of this last transfer day?
Losers: definitely the Arses and Chelski
Winners: Swansea, Everton and Spurs
In reply to NineMiles
Llorente for 15 Mil has to be the deal of the summer...
Spurs had to be the best in the transfer window.
In reply to NineMiles
Chelsea losers?
They set sights on Drinkwater long time. They got him.
Maybe Llorento was a loss seeing that I think he had a history with Conte.
They got a defender that they wanted.
At the end of the day, we still not sure about Mahrez.
Hearing now they got Mahrez
In reply to DAVE400
Yeah man, happy with the Llorente deal. Covers our attacking options!
In reply to archangel
So what about Barkley pulling out after having a medical and agreeing a contract? Utter shambles!
£35mil for for Drinkwater? what a joke!
In reply to NineMiles
I agree it has been frustrating with several players opting for other clubs or out when it seemed on the verge of a deal being made.
It was reported that Chamberlain wanted nothing to do with playing right back. Haven't heard yet why Bartley changed his mind. We know Lukaku appeared to snub Chelsea although some would say, Conte didn't really want him but just playing mind games with Jose.
Let us see how all this pans out.
Arsenal's transfer activity is the shockingly poorest ever. All in terms of buys, sells and holds.
In reply to JohnBull
