1. IN ANY BUILDING YOU ENTER YOU

NEED TO OBSERVE WHERE THE EXITS SIGNS

ARE ON ALL FLOORS CASE OF AN EMERGENCY

NOTE , EXISTS SIGNS ARE AT THE SAME

PLACES ON EVERY FLOOR .


MOST EXIT SIGNS HAVE DEDICATED POWER

SO THAT IN THE EVENT OF A FIRE OR

EMERGENCY , EXIT SIGNS ARE ALWAYS

LIGHTED .


2. IF YOU ARE ABOVE THE FIRST FLOOR

IN THE EVENT OF A FIRE , CURB YOUR

INSTINCT TO GET IN THE ELEVATOR ,WHY?

THE ELECTRICAL POWER TO THE BUILDING

IS GOING SHUT DOWN .


3. USE THE EXIT FIRE DOORS , THEY ARE

CLAD WITH METAL ; AND HAVE DURATION

OF 2 PLUS HOURS BEFORE THEY

DISINTEGRATE .


Some years ago , in Midtown Manhattan
around noon a Building had a fire on one of its Floors ; around noon , some people , rather than use the Floors crammed into an Elevator , that did not move , because the foot of one person prevented the Elevator Doors from closing , and as a result the all died of Smoke Inhalation .

I doubt that the Elevator would have
moved anyway , because the First thing that is done is to shut down the power of buildings .

BTW, There are some Business Houses
that block up their Exists with goods
so that the Exists are inoperable .

Some years ago , there was a Fire in an Island in the Region , and an Employee of the Store died , because
the Exit Door was blocked .

Generally buildings should have at least two Exits .
